Trust

I once set foot in the darkest deem,
Where there is no one, even though I scream.
As I felt that there were tears in my eyes,
Remembering all their crazy lies.

I give my trust so easily,
As someone broke it carelessly.
They left me broken, inside out,
Drowning in pain and filled with doubt.

Each betrayal stays in my mind,
Not forgetting what they left behind.
The wounds in my heart that they have made,
The trust they built has come to fade.

But then I saw her pretty eyes,
Felt like she brought me back to life.
Wherein her gaze, I found my light,
As she promised that things were gonna be alright.

So I started to believe in someone again,
Hoping that there's no pain I will gain.
With her by my side, I found my peace,
From shattered pieces, I'll live with ease.
