"... it's nice to-"

"RIMURU!!!"

Ramiris flew out of the blue and straight into my face. She was just as loud as when I last saw her.

"YOU IDIOT! WHERE DID YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE VANISH OFF TO?!? BAKA! BAKA BAKA BAK-KAH!!!"

I gave her a chop on the top of her head and she immediately began to whimper. I felt bad that this was how we first reunited but...

"Oy! Don't you think I'm just as confused on where you and everyone else went?!"

"Well I... Um..."

She failed to figure out the words to argue back against me. She looked back towards Beretta who was seemingly trying to be helpful with certain hand gestures.

"I..."

"Don't worry about it. It's... really nice to see you again."

I gave off a faint smile, Ramiris seemed to ignore the little pain from the chop as her eyes slowly began filling with tears.

"Rimuru..."

She tried to wipe them away but I came up slowly towards her before laying out my hand for her to rest on. She accepted and just began crying slightly louder and louder as it echoed throughout the floor.

It was really good to see her again... it really was...

Ramiris eventually stopped crying and looked up towards me with slightly puffy eyes. She was seemingly done with all the crying tears, only simply staring at me as I continued to smile faintly.

"Don't laugh..."

"I wasn't going to."

"Don't lie, I could see it."

"I don't think you could see much with those eyes covered in tears."

Ramiris didn't seem insulted but began to laugh a bit.

"Lord Rimuru. I detect a few unknown individuals are reaching this floor soon."

"It must be the others that I went with on a quest here."

"Should I try to delay them, Lord Rimuru?"

"Well..."

While delaying them would probably be a good move, I now see who is the demon they felt earlier. I kept taking looks at Beretta and it was almost certain to me that he was the culprit. Having Beretta delay them would be no more than causing them all to panic even further...

"Oh, you wouldn't need to delay them! We can just head to a different floor."

That would certainly work.

"Lead the way, Ramiris."

"Alright! Follow me!"

Ramiris flew off my hand and began guiding me to where we should be able to reach a differing floor. I was about to ask if she couldn't just simply teleport us off into a different floor but she seemed far too excited about what she wanted to show me. I decided against asking her just to see what she had in store.

Beretta simply followed behind both me and Ramiris as we walked. I eventually noticed a strange looking system embedded into the floor. It wasn't visible to the normal eye but to Magic Sense and Trap Sense, it was clear as day that there was something there.

"What is that supposed to be?"

It looked like someone began drawing a whole load of random symbols and signs into the floor and began twisting them around with weird connections to others until something worked. Knowing Ramiris and her track record of creations meant that this had to be something special or something she had been working on.
