ADARSH'S POV

Me and Kashvi went home.
She was removing her shoes and I was desperate to hug her.

"Kashvi"

"Hmm?"

She turned to me and I immediately embraced her.

"I am soo sorry. Kashvi I can't imagine what I did and what I would have done after I did what I did"

"Ad--"

"I am not sorry abt the shooting but I am sorry about the way I treated you"

"Adarsh...I am sorry too...I should have never put you in a position where you have to hide things to keep this relationship working"

"I love you Kashvi"

"I love you too Darsh"

"Mere saath Durga Pandal chalogi?"

"Haa chalo"

So we dressed up in traditional. There is a lot of traffic due to Navratri.
We bowed down in front Maa Durga. Kashvi prayed longer than me.  But I prayed harder.

"Durga Maa...Sab sambhal lena"

Kashvi turned to me and opened her eyes, she got confused when she didn't see me right in front of her...but then she looked down, I was down on one knee.
She gasped.

"Kal hi karna tha yeh...par sab gadbad hogayi...koi nahi"

She took a long breathe and figgetted with her kurta sleeves. It looked like she wanted me to start speaking.

"You stayed my hand, quelled my rage, you inspired goodness in me and unlike all the souls I have encountered and forgetton in long march of time, I will carry you with me"

Her eyes sparkled with tears.

"What's important to you is important to me. What makes you happy makes me want to keep you so. What scares you, I want to tear apart."

The crowd was cheering the whole time but neither of us could hear them because we were soo into each other.

"Tum meri zindagi ki Devi ho. Will you marry me Kashvi?"

I popped the ring in front of her. She was a teary mess by now. She immediately nodded her head a lot of times. As I slippes the ring in her finger, she bent down to me and took me in her warm embrace.

"You are everything I want, I need and love. I love you soo soo much Darsh. Yes I will marry you."

"I love you tooo"

The whole crowd in the mandir cheered for us. The panditji packed sindoor for us that he took from Durga Maa's feet.
