He expected Fall Out Boy to get back together during their hiatus and they did in 2012.
He expected his YouTube channel to gain fame quickly from Phil's confidence pep-talks over Skype and that was exactly what his channel did.
He expected his parents to be fine with his sexuality because of another of Phil's pep-talks and they were one hundred percent okay with it.
He expected Phil to love him back, but all his expectations never became true.
The only thing Dan never realized was that everything previous took time.
