Later that night- 11:56 pm

I set my feet on the concrete, exhaling in relief of a safe flight back home.

I look down at my phone and try calling key for the 19th time since this morning and she still doesn't answer

I'd be lying if I didn't say I was at least worried

"Mr. Morgan" the woman greets me before handing me my car keys. I thank her and leave the airport.

I run my hand over my face tiredly as the events' of today's meeting play over in my head

flashback-

"Mr. Morgan, they're ready to start the meeting" Crystal informs me from the other side of the door

"Alright thank you Crystal" I nod my head as if she can see me, before redirecting my attention to key'mauni

"Look, I gotta go to this meeting but I'ma call you back aight" I lick my lips looking down at her dark chocolate skin on my phone screen

"Alright bye" she smiles hanging up immediately.

My smile contorts into a straight face as I begin to dress in my all black suit and dress shoes.

I walk out of the hotel, getting into the backseat of the black SUV greeting the chauffeur.

He begins to drive and within 25 minutes, we come to a halt at a tall building.

I thank the man stepping out of the vehicle and walking into the vehicle.

I take the elevator up to the last floor and enter conference room B, just as I was instructed.

"Look who's finally decided to join us" my father scoffs, gaining humorless chuckles from the three other men at the table.

I roll my eyes at him, taking a seat at the table, opposite from them

"So sales have been dropping, I'll need you to spread product to the east and western side of Atlanta. I'm gonna be bringing in something new, they won't be able to resist it, probably for 50 a piece. Don lt smoke that shit though, it'll have you running on my walls and shit" my father explains, tossing a bag with 4 pills on the table to showcase to everyone.

It's no secret that my father's law firm is really just a front for his money laundering and drug business.

Risky, I know.

" That ain't what I came here for" I shake my head tossing the bag back to him.

His brows knit together and his smirk, drops as he places his elbows on the table, intrigued by my statement

"I want out"

They all look at me like I'm crazy, then immediately burst out laughing

I hold a straight face, becoming irritated by the fact that they aren't taking me seriously
