Your ( ) family was extremely conservative and Catholic: Three younger brothers, four younger sisters, an expected baby on the way, and a mom and dad who had very specific expectations for you. Of course, those expectations consisted of you finding a nice, fellow catholic girl to date with the promise of marriage once you have obtained a good college degree, which will provide you with a comfortable job to invest toward your eventual family. You didn't really mind nor retaliate against the idea of your parents wanting you to have a good, beneficial education/future that will land you a comfortable income for you and the family you yearn for: it is the fact a husband is part of that dream, not a wife, that surged overwhelming anxiety. While your parents, albeit stern, showered you with immense love and support, you knew all too well they did not believe in homosexuality. And you meant that literally because you heard them actually say "gay" was not a real thing but men had yet to find the perfect woman (and vice versa for women). Naturally, you felt stuck and scared. Your parents loved you, and they did support you in terms of your hobbies and interests...but you just knew they would never support your sexual orientation.

Would they kick you out? Would they try to understand you? Would they just ignore you? Would they suddenly change their beliefs? You honestly didn't want to find out, nor did you even want them to change their beliefs because of what it means to them and your ancestry. All you would ask from them is to understand you, as their own flesh and blood, and accept this unchangeable fact about you. But even so, you never dared let them know, nor would you ever dare have them learn you were dating the cute, nerdy, neighbor boy, MILES MORALES ( Into the Spider-verse ). You two were close friends while growing up, so much so that your parents considered him their own son (which was extremely awkward for you). You were a secret couple, but you undoubtedly felt happy about being with him, except you hated feeling like a burden on Miles. The relationship wasn't allowed to naturally flow due to your paranoia that your family might become suspicious you two are anything more than friends. The fact there were a lot of instances where Miles had to abruptly leave for one thing or another was absolutely no help. (He gave very scrambled and noncomplete excuses, sometimes outright disappearing without your knowledge.) It made you feel he was either trying too hard to not seem close to you or, worst of all, he no longer wanted to date you.

In reality, Miles felt just as bad for you having this heavy weight on your shoulders that kept you from freely being yourself. So as the ultimate way to make you feel better, he appears at your window in his Spiderman suit. You, obviously shocked and confused as to why a superhero like himself would visit you, hesitantly allow him inside. There might have been a split second of uncomfortable silence before he hugs you tight and...cries? They're muffled, but you hear faint sobs behind his mask. You awkwardly pat his back until he calms down and backs away just enough to remove his mask with one hand to reveal his identity. In an instant, with no words needing to be said, you hug him back and cry into his hair. You aren't the only one living a double life for the sake of your own safety and privacy: you have your amazing boyfriend, and you won't ever let him go, no matter what may happen between you and your family.
