AS THE PRO therapist gave a joyful nod while sharing information, Midoriya expeditiously wrote down everything she was saying.

Aizawa noticed his knuckles almost turning white from how intense he was about this, he wasn't sure whether to chuckle or be concerned.

Either way, he moved his stare for now, glancing between the woman and her little girl, who radiated fatigue beyond her years.

She sat at her desk with a poker face that definitely looked well practiced. If it wasn't obvious yesterday, it sure was now: for the first time ever, Shota Aizawa had a student that was hard to read.

Good thing he asked Nezu to hire lovely Hana to help him out.

The woman in question then addressed the class that she's now mentally responsible for. "Alright! Any other questions?"

Mineta's hand shot up first and she nodded for him to speak.

"So is there uh, a Mr. Shinso?" a mischievous grin spread across his face, like he's been waiting to blurt that out.

Hitomi's eyes widened in disbelief behind her glasses, her jaw unhinging as she turned in her seat, glaring daggers at him.

"That's literally my mom, you freak. What's wrong with you?"

Mineta shrugged nonchalantly, leaning back in his chair with a smirk. "What? You got a problem with me being your step-dad?"

The protective girl's expression turned deadpan. "You? I have a problem with anyone who needs a step-ladder to be able to kiss her."

"She's got you there man," Kirishima snickered at his crestfallen expression.

"You should really stop talking when a Shinso is present; it doesn't seem to be working for you, bro," Sero added on with humor in his tone as well.

Denki, always ready to join in the banter, leaned over in his seat with a boyish grin.

"Interesting," he mused, making Hitomi reluctantly turn to observe whatever idiotic thing he was about to say.

"That mean I'd pass then?" his eyebrows raised up and down knowingly, chin resting on his palm. "After all I think I'm tall enough sooo."

Hitomi's eyes flashed with an irritation that (unbeknownst to her) made the girl look eerily like her father.
