She only caught what the final kid (Midoriya) said, asking if her quirk was a speed based one. But quickly jumping in, Denki eagerly explained how Hitomi was a psychic.
While looking down at her shoes, she rolled her eyes, glad to most likely be kicked out by the day's end and not have to be around all these people anymore. Maybe she'd just homeschool this year.
"Holy woah, really?!" the freckled boy beamed to her right, making her glance at him from her periphery.
"So you did that jump without any help from a quirk? That's amazing! And being a psychic on top of that must be crazy helpful in a whole other way. Y'know that reminds me of Sir Nighteye and his Foresight quirk— actually wait, you're really tall like him!" he inhaled a big gasp. "Are you two related by any chanc—"
"Shove a sock in it already, stupid Deku."
Hitomi lethargically stared past Midoriya to where Bakugo was standing close behind.
The blond noticed her spaced out eyes teetering on the edge of permanently closing, and wasn't sure how to respond to the odd look.
Bakugo had genuinely never met someone that looked so unequivocally uninterested in him, and everything else for that matter.
It almost made him uneasy, seeing his presence around her wasn't enough to give him higher authority, whereas with most others, it did.
"Dude," Hitomi blankly began as a rock-looking boy stiffly did his side steps. "Chillax, he's just excited."
Pulling her clammy hands from her pockets, she looked away, simply watching the tall teenager get a significantly lower score than the perverted pest.
"What kind of hero hates on someone for something they're interested in?"
The ticking time bomb stomped over, aggressively poking his finger near her collarbone.
"You want me to end your sorry excuse of a life right now, Eyebags?"
The girl eyed him up and down, not one ounce of her feeling threatened. Instead, she smirked just enough so it was visible.
