┕━━━☽【☹︎】☾━━━┙ALL MIGHT nervously chuckled at their odd interactions. From what the blue-eyed blondie knew, their father's were fairly close work partners.
It was pretty big news when Endeavor had been rushed to the Sapporo hospital some years back —2102, if All Might remembers correctly— especially due to the large head injury Mr. Todoroki obtained. Of course, the media scrambled to document it all like the vultures they are.
It wasn't until hours later a statement was even made. Coming from the head surgeon himself, saying he personally saw to it that the pro was in stable condition. The news of Endeavor's care being handled by Dr. Housei Hida boosted the latter's already creditable reputation.
After that, it was occasionally noted on television or the internet whenever the surgeon helped the hero again, which always caught All Might's eye.
Someone Endeavor respected and trusted enough to insure his care to was a strange thought to some. But especially to the man who only received ironically cold shoulders from the flame hero.
Suddenly, his protégé heavily sighed, regaining All Might's attention as the boy skulked further into the building.
"You're exhausting."
Hitomi snorted, unfazed. "You sound like my father."
"Then your father sounds like a wise man."
"It's funny," she leaned against the doorway as the edgy boy walked away. "Our energy is the same, y'know? We could probably be friends."
Todoroki scoffed, "Maybe, if you ever stopped talking."
"Weren't you the one who struck up the conversation in the first place?"
A beat of silence went by. Then two.
"Let's just get this over with."
He started padding over to the stairs, the ice lightly crunching under his weight.
Sighing at him and his obvious overpowered quirk, Hitomi had to shake off the annoyance towards people like Todoroki; heroic quirks like his just make everything so easy.
But jealousy wouldn't help right now, and she logically knew that. Instead, the slightly bitter girl tried to be useful while she had the chance.
Clicking the setting on the side of her visor that showed x-rays, she saw her partner (if you could call him that) ahead in the hallway. After looking up, Tomi saw the two faux villains on the fifth and final floor.
Rolling her drowsy eyes, Hitomi leaned her shoulder on the doorway that was encased in crystals.
"Yo, Ice Prince," she called out, making him glance back. "You got any clues where they are?"
