Intro

Elisabeth Green.

In the magical underworld, away from humans. When she was born, every fairy knew she was powerful. Everyone was excited to see her powers bloom.

Well ,mostly everyone.

Her father disappeared when she was five.He truly loved his family, but no one knew why he was just gone.

Elisabeth was kind and full of light.

One person looked at her with envy and anger.

When her husband was gone,she thought maybe she can get all the attention on her if her daughter was gone too.

One day, Elisabeth and her mother walked when suddenly the floor gave in and Elisabeth fell through the ground.

It felt like her parachute did not open as she fell.

She landed in a tree in a wood. She was lost and laid against a tree ,but suddenly her mother stood above her with anger in her eyes. Elisabeth shrunk into the ground from fear.

She had never seen her like this. She tried to get away,but she was stuck. Her body slowly losing its power.

Her mother is robbing her of her power. She felt her eyes unwillingly close. She accepted her fate and it went black.

She opened her eyes and she was alone and in pain.
All her magic is gone.

She would never be able to get her wings or use her abilities of the elements.

She felt like she could not move.
The air is different here.
She realised that she is on Earth.

Is this where she will die?

Her breathing was getting shallower. She was struggling. She heard footsteps coming closer, and she trembled in fear.

Damon, a vampire turned in 1864, wondered in the woods.
Looking for a snack. He heard heartbeat and smelled blood, he run to the score of the crime, and found a shocking scene.

He found a 5 year old, shivering in fear, against a tree. She had cuts on her arm and her head.

For a moment,he considered walking away.

But he saw her eyes and he saw a young version of himself and Stefan in them. He knew he could not just leave her there.

He slowly approached her, and she mumbled in fear.

"Please...Don't kill me."

He told her," Let me help you. Okay... I will take you to the hospital."

She just nodded her head and closed her eyes, hoping that she will be okay. Damon picked her up and carried her bridal style to his car and then drove her to the nearest hospital.

Damon brought her to the ER. He explained that he found her injured in the woods. The doctors looked after the girl,while he waited in the waiting room. He just told himself that he did not care and just wanted to see if she is
alive. He unfortunately knew he was lying.

His cold heart was melting. He was feeling again.

After a few hours went by,a doctor came up to Damon.
"She has a small concussion, and a cut on her arm. We gave her stitches and some pain medication. She is currently talking to a social worker if you want to see her."

He thought he should leave, but somehow he nodded his head. The doctor took Him to a room where the social worker was trying to get the girl to talk. The girl looked up and saw the guy from the woods.

She mumbled quietly," Thank you."

He, of course, heard her and gave her a small smile.

The social worker noticed how the little girl trusted this man. Her fear no longer noticable.

The social worker stood in the corner, examining the two as they talked. Damon learned what her name was. As Damon turned to leave as he saw the girl was getting tired, a hand grabbed his and a small voice said,"Please don't leave me..."

He bend down to her and asked her, silently dreading if she says no,"Elisabeth. ..Do you want to live with me?"

She happily nodded her head before she fell asleep.

Damon knew what he had to do now. Compel a bunch of people. All the people that saw Elisabeth, were compelled to forget about her.

He will compel Elisabeth a birth certificate later.

He then took her to the Salvatore Boarding House.

He somehow just became a dad.
And he is not mad about it.
