Founder's Day

After the incident with Logan, Damon worried for his daughter. So while is was dangerous for humans to be there, he made here spend some time with Lexie. To be safe from the tomb vampires.

While she was away, she kept in contact with Care and Elena. Stefan still hasn't met her yet.

While she was gone, Katherine was not in the tomb, Grams died, and some other stuff probably happened.

Ellie's pov

I am finally back. It was the Founder's day parade and I am excited. Me and dad are going to eat cotton candy until one of us throws up.

Stefan is standing alone in his old suit, waiting. Damon arrives with Ellie on searching for food.

"Look at you, all retro."

Stefan asked him," What are you doing here?"

"Why wouldn't I be here? Bonnie deactivated the gilbert invention, Isobel is gone and it's founder's day! I'm here to pick candy with Ellie."

I came running from the candy stand. With three cotton candies. I walked right up to Dad and Uncle Stefan.

"The lady was like it is morning, a lady does not eat candy, like this is the 1800s."

I handed them each a cotton candy and kept the biggest one.

Damon introduced us, waiting to see what is our reactions.

I stood there nervously. Not sure what to do. Stefan also looks a bit nervous. Luckily they joked about Damon's stupidity. Elena walked down the stairs and to the brothers she looked like Katherine. I tackled her into a hug.

"I love the dress and the hair. Can you even breathe?"

Elena hugged me back and answered me,"I can just barely breathe. I love this yellow dress. This took me all morning."

As the girls were on the float, me and Dad cheered.

The rest of the day, me and Caroline were together.

I met Matt and Tyler. They seems nice.

Later, Damon sees Stefan and Elena. He goes toward them and takes Elena's hand

"What are you doing?"

Damon hurriedly informed them," Saving your life. Fifteen words or less… Tomb vamps are here, founding families are their target. Get her out of here, now! I will get Ellie."

I was getting some corn dogs for the group at a food stand.

Meanwhile,John is preparing the device, Damon arrives.

"Do you have any idea of what you've done?"

John arrogantly said,"Yeah, as a matter of fact I do."

Damon goes toward him, John activates the device. Damon falls, he holds his head and screams.

I was walking back, when suddenly I felt like million needles in my head. I tried screaming for help, but I just passed out.

3rd Pov

The device is stopped. John takes everything back and goes in the basement. Damon is on the floor, unconscious. DPDS are bringing more vampires

"The device is done; the only thing that keeps them down is vervain. We don't have much time, let's finish this."

Damon begins to wake up; one of the DPDS is putting gasoline everywhere. John begins to leave but Anna catches his leg. She's on the floor. He looks at her.

He stakes her, Damon looks at him. John puts more gasoline. He goes up the stairs and puts gasoline on them. He goes out the basement and light the fire.

Damon saw something he wish, he could unsee. His daughter was unconscious. He crawled to her and moved her to a place where the fire would reached last.
Some of the vampires begin to burn. Damon looks at them.

He holds her tighter. He tried making a mask with his jacket, trying to lessen the smoke inhalation. He never thought the device would work on her.

This is my fault. She might die because of me.

He keeps checking her pulse, hoping for the best.

" Wait, wait, wait, I can hear them. The building is on fire."

With the help of Bonnie, Stefan was able to get in there and save his family.

Once they were out, Damon bit open his wrist and fed Ellie some blood. But, to all of their surprise, the vampire blood did not work. He tried again, but nothing. He grabbed her and rushed to the hospital. Hoping they can save her.

The doctors took his daughter from him and he sat in the waiting room. He thought his torture days, was the worst part of his life. No, this is. Waiting to see if your daughter will be alive.

John was in the Gilbert's kitchen, with Elena or so he thought

She cuts his fingers with a knife and pushes him against the sink .John screams either in pain or shock,"Katherine?!"

"Hello, John. Goodbye, John"

Her face changes; she stabs him. Elena opens the front door; she's on the phone with Stefan.

" I looked everywhere. Yeah, someone definitely took my stuff. I'm just gonna check on Jeremy before I'll go to the hospital. Can you meet me there? Okay, I love you Stefan."

She enters the house to check on Jeremy. "Jeremy?! Are you up?" She hears noise coming from the kitchen. She goes toward the kitchen.
