Masquerade Ball

The gang organised a plan to kill Katherine at the Ball while Elena and Ellie were being watched by Alaric at the Gilbert's house. Both were unaware of the plan.

Jenna laid on the couch in a bit of pain,"I feel like an invalid."

"That's because you are invalid. Where's Jeremy? Isn't he hungry?"

Jenna informed the two girls," He already left for the Lockwood party."

"We are going to get some napkins."

The girls goes into the kitchen and joins Alaric.

"What's going on?" Ellie was worried about Katherine. Sure ,Kat is full of psychotic plans. Not like she has a choice.

" What do you mean?" Alaric tried lying, but the girls saw through it.

Elena told him,"I haven't heard from anyone all day. It's like everyone's been avoiding me and now Jeremy's supposedly at the party? He hates stuff like that."

His phone rings. She tries to catch it but he catches it and puts it in his pocket.

Elena knew what to say to get the truth," So then it'll be okay if we just head down, try to meet up with everyone."

" Wait, wait, wait."

Elena then asked him," What are you hiding, Rick?"

"Stefan and Damon asked me to keep an eye on you guys, just in case Katherine showed up while he was at the party."

Elena and Ellie excused themselves and snuck out to go the Ball. They run into Bonnie and Jeremy .

Elena asked them upset,"How am I supposed to feel if one of you guys gets hurt because of me?" Ellie did not know how to feel. She did not want Kat to die.

" It's not just you anymore, Elena. She's messed with all of us, she has to be stopped."

After Caroline tricked Katherine into a room,Damon is coming out the closet, he has the compressed air weapon in his hands. He shot Katherine. The stake goes in her back. At the same time Elena screams. She's hurt like Katherine. Stefan rushes over Katherine and drive the stake through her arm. Elena screams, she's hurt too

"It's Katherine. She's linked to Katherine, get them to stop! Now!"

Ellie run upstairs with Jeremy. Stefan and Damon are fighting with Katherine. She tries to stake Damon but Stefan catches her by behind, fall in the floor with her and strangles her by behind. She can't move. Damon arrives and is about to kill her but Jeremy and Ellie arrived

Ellie yelled out,"Stop! You're hurting Elena! Everything you're doing to her is hurting Elena."

Damon stops. He's surprised. Katherine smiles and gets up.

" You think you two are the only ones with a witch on your side? Wrong and something tells me that my witch is better than your witch."

She takes the stake from Damon's hands. Damon and Stefan look at Jeremy and Damon

Stefan told Jeremy,"Go check on Elena. Make sure she's okay. Go!" He run off and Damon looked at his daughter, who told to stay at the Gilbert's.

Ellie innocently put her hands up in surrender,"I wanted to make sure Elena was okay and did do anything stupid. But as soon as this is finished and she is okay. We will safely be at her house, having a sleepover."

Damon shook his head, he knows he cannot stop her.
"Fine, but let me know if you need something or if something happened. Okay?"

" Sure. Love you Dad. See ya Uncle Stef. Bye Katherine."

Damon knew she was just  being polite. If she's ever kidnapped, she will probably say thank you. "Don't greet her. Stranger Danger. Remember. " Ellie just slowly nodded and waved when she turned around.

Katherine was amused by the duo.

Bonnie managed to get the other witches help. Lucy arrives and she has the moonstone in her hand.

Lucy stood by the door and said,"Katherine, the spell in this room has been broken, you're free to leave. When I hand this over my debt to you is over."

" Done."

Lucy repeated again,"I owe you nothing."

" I said done. Give it." To happy her plan worked ,  she fell into a trap without noticing .She gives her the moonstone. When Katherine touches it, she can't breathe. She passed out.

Katherine wakes up. The moonstone is on the floor, next to her. She takes it. She gets up and tries to leave ,but she's trapped. Damon arrives and Katherine asked him," Where am I?"

" Where you should have been all along. I thought you'd learn your lesson by now, messing with a Bennett witch."

He goes toward the door, to close it.

Katherine exclaimed,trying to stop him," No, Damon, don't. Damon, don't. You need me, Elena's in danger. Maybe even Ellie."

" You're lying, you're always lying." Damon will not believe this snake. He learned his lesson about her. He ignored the feeling in his gut and he closes the door.

Katherine yelled again, clawing against the door,"Damon, don't! I'll do anything, please. Damon! You need me! You need me!"

The door is closed; she cries and hit the door very hard.

Elena and Ellie were in the parking lot. They were excited to have a normal night after all his drama.She's at the phone with Jeremy.

"Yeah Jeremy, I've got my car. Tell Bonnie that whatever she did, I'm starting to feel better. Yeah, you can drive her home. I'm just gonna go straight to bed. Ellie is with me. Okay."

She hangs up. Ellie saw a man come from behind her, she tried warning her, but quickly both girls were knocked out.

Damon went home. He still had a bad feeling in him. But he should not. Katherine is not a problem anymore. There will not be anymore problems. Ellie is safe at the Gilbert's. Everything is fine. Little did he know that he should've trusted his feelings.
