Bloodlines

In his room, Stefan is holding the picture of Katherine and the necklace. He tries to call Elena, but with no answer, leaves her another voicemail.

"Elena. It's Stefan. I know that this picture must have confused you. But I can explain. I need to explain. So, please, when you get this, call me."

Elena is driving her car and sees a man in the middle of the road. She slams on her brakes but hits the man. Her car rolls over and over. She is stuck in her seat. The man somehow recovers and starts walking towards her car. Elena screams. The man runs away. A second later, Damon appears.

Damon ejects her seat belt. Damon picks up Elena." Are you okay? Can you stand? Is anything broken?"
Elena slightly shook her head, "Uh-uh."

Damon puts Elena down but she can barely stand. Damon catches her before she falls to the ground.

Elena faints. Damon grabs her and slowly puts her on the ground. He brushes her face with his hand.

Ellie and Damon were in the front seats and Elena laid passed out on the backseat.

The next morning, Elena exclaimed in shock,"Pull over!"

Damon quickly pulled over and when she stood outside the car, hand on her knees.He crouched down by her for support.Elena was looking at Damon strangely,"I'm fine. We have to go back."

Elena hissed,"Why are you doing this? I can't be in Georgia. I wrecked my car. I have to go home. This is kidnapping."

"Well, you're IN Georgia. Without your magical little necklace, I might add. I can very easily make you...agreeable."

Elena asked,"Am I gonna be safe with you?You promise not to do that mind control thing with me?"

Ellie climbed outside of the car and stood next to them, she gave Elena an awkward wave,"I am Ellie, Damon's daughter. I promise you are safe. He will not hurt you, he will just be his old vampire self. And here is a vervain ring for safety. There might be other vamps."

"I am not old." Damon rolled his eyes and Elena observed the interaction and took the ring from the girl. She seems nice.

"I am Elena."

They were driving on the road again. Ellie handed Elena some bandaids for her head."Sorry they are only the Mickey Mouse ones. The adult did not buy the normal ones."

Damon scoffed,"I am a vampire. And for the last time,I thought they were the normal ones."

"So the pictures did not throw you off. You are getting old. Do you need glasses?"

Elena enjoyed the father daughter duo. It made her miss her father. She never thought that Damon would care for anyone, yet there he stood looking like his world revolved around his daughter.

Damon pulls up in front of a bar named "Bree's Bar".

"Where are we? You brought me to a bar? Damon, I'm not old enough. They're not going to let me in."

They get out of the car and enter the bar. Ellie decided to go to a booth near the back after she ordered 3 burgers and one ice cream, while her dad and Bree talks.

Elena followed her ,not wanting to be alone with Damon.

After an awkward silence, Elena ask her,"How are you dealing with all the supernatural stuff? Because, being human with all this, is nerve-wracking."

Ellie nervously bit her lip and pondered her answer,"I am a shy person. I do not like changes. And sometimes the drama does get crazy. So I take breaks from the craziness. Focusing on my schoolwork or my garden. It is important to have hobbies and people you can count on."

"Thank you for being so nice. You are like the sweetest person and Damon raised you?"

Both of the girls burst out with laughter.

Later the food and drinks came. The three were eating.

"Let's just say that I'm descended from Katherine...does that make me part vampire?"

Damon answered her with a smirk," Vampires can't procreate. But we love to try. No, if you were related, it would mean Katherine had a child before she was turned."

Ellie kicked him under the table, and looked at him disgusted,"I am eating here."

Bree brought them some beers. Both girls went to grab one. Damon does not care if Elena drinks. She is not his responsibility, but he stopped Ellie.

"Time out, remember? For five minutes? Yeah, well that five minutes is going to need a beer."

Damon did not get any information on the tomb. A waste of time to be here. He looked over and saw Elena and Ellie playing pool and enjoying each other's company.

At the end of the day, the girls jammed out to Taylor Swift as they drove back to Mystic Falls.
