Rose

Ellie's POV

I felt pain all over my body. A truck must have run me over. I remember the ball and then I was in the parking lot with Elena. Oh no...we were kidnapped. Dad is probably not letting me our of the house for 20 years.

I should probably open my eyes. I hear voices around me. Is Elena talking to the kidnappers?

I sat up on the couch and see I am in a dusty old house. Elena and a pixie cut hair woman are talking. I feel for injuries over my body and I only have a head wound on the side of my head.

"Who are the originals?"Elena asked them, then she saw I am awake. She gave me a relieved smile and I mouthed to her that I am okay.

"Trevor and  I've been running for 500 years. We're tired, we want it over. We're using you to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess."

I moved closer to Elena and asked her,"But why her?"

Rose looked at me, interested, "Because Sleeping Beauty, she is a Petrova doppelganger. You're the key into breaking the curse."

"The curse? The sun and the moon curse? What do you mean I'm the key? The moonstone is what breaks the curse." I am very confused, I don't always listen when dad rants about the supernatural drama.

Rose corrected her," No, the moonstone is what binds the curse. The sacrifice will breaks it. The blood of the doppelganger. You are the doppelganger. Which means, in order to break the curse you are the one who has to die."

....

We both were shocked. Elena can't die, she's my friend. This sacrifice stuff sounds straight out of a horror movie.

We sat on the couch in silence , both just thinking about the information we received .Elena finds a paper under her foot. It says that Stefan and Damon are coming. She gave me a small smile, hoping everything is going to be okay.

.....

The other kidnapper is quite hysterical and snapped,"He's here! This was a mistake. I can't do this. You give her to him, he let you leave but I need to get out of here."

Rose exclaimed, trying to calm him and hold his hands," Hey! What are we?"

"We're family, forever."

Someone knocks on the door. This is starting to be a creepy thriller movie or something. I heard a door creak open. I just want to go home. Dad will be here soon.

Elena stated out of breath,"You're scared." I gave her a look 'Nice stating the obvious'.

I stayed seated on the couch and Elena stood next to Trevor. We can hear a deep voice talking to Rose.

A hot guy in a suit came in the room. No, do not think kidnappers are hot. Stupid mistake. He looked straight at Elena. He seems surprised and rushes over to her. 

There is dust floating in the air, because of his swift movement. It is activating my sinuses. I let out a loud sneeze, against my will. His head quickly turned around to me.

"Sorry. Did not mean to interrupt. Please don't kill me. It was actually your fault I sneezed, so blame yourself."

I can see Elena trying to keep herself from laughing.

He moved closer and he has a small smile on his face. He stuck his hand out for a introduction,"I am Elijah and you are?"

Oh my.. the hot dude is British...

"I am Elisabeth. Nice to meet....well not actually. You are kinda kidnapping my friend." I walked over to Elena. He seems annoyed. I think my time is over.

"We have a long journey head of us. We should be going.One last piece of business and we're done."

He goes toward Trevor. Almost like a prey circling his victim.

Trevor said," I've waited so long for this day, Elijah. I'm truly, very sorry. You trusted me with Katerina and I failed you."

"Oh yes you are the guilty one and Rose helped you because she was loyal to you and that now I honor. Where was your loyalty?"

Before anyone could say anything, a loud slap was heard and a head was flying. I never thought heads could fly. I am not feeling okay. I turned around trying to keep the nausea at bay. But it is too late. I suddenly turn into a waterfall of throw up.

I feel Elena is next to me. Keeping my hair out of my face and rubbing my back. Without me seeing, she glared at the older vampire. He glared back with a look,'How was he supposed to know she had a sensitive stomach.'

After a few minutes, I stood up again, avoiding eye contact with vampires and the corpse.

He looks at them and said,"Come."

Elena knew she had to distract him,"No and what about the moonstone?"

I was not focusing much, feeling a bit dizzy.

They hear noise upstairs.

Elijah demanded to know," Who else is in this house?"

Elijah gently moved me and grabbed Elena with a bit more force. They go in another part of the house.

Elijah goes in the stairs with his super speed.

I hear dad's voice," Down here." I am moved very quickly and dad put me in another room for safety. I heard a lot of movements and shots and a bomb. When it was quiet, I moved to where they are. I tackled my dad in a hug. Just  glad they are not hurt.

I see the guy staked to a wall. No one deserves to be stuck on a wall. I moved closer and dad tried stopping me and I looked at him with sad eyes,"Can we just not leave him there to hang? No one deserves such an afterlife."

Dad just nodded and took out then stake, leaving the body to lie there. As he walked back, I hugged him again ," Thank you dad for always saving me."

We walked to the car," I will always save you, Little Bear."
