Brave new world

She wakes up in the middle of the night and goes out of the room. The nurse is working at the nurse’s station.

"Excuse me? Where is everyone?"

The nurse informed her while working on a file,"It's the middle of the night honey. She left after dinner with your boyfriend and then your friend Elena stepped by."

Caroline was getting more irrated," She did? Yeah, she did but she said her name was Katherine. Can I just get something to eat?"

" Breakfast comes around seven. You should go back to sleep."

She goes toward the room but then she stops. The nurse leaves but Caroline stays in the hallway. She looks everywhere and sees a blood pouch in a patient's room. She goes toward the pouch and touches it ,but the nurse arrives.

The nurse found her and said,"You need to go back to bed."

She takes Caroline to her room and leaves. Caroline sits down on her bed and takes he blood vag from her pocket. She drinks but she doesn't like it so she throws the pouch on the floor. She feels disgusted with herself.

She looks at the bag on the floor and pick it up. She drinks from it again. She throws away the bag and goes to the bathroom. She looks at her reflection in the mirror and sees her eyes bloodshot and veins under her eyes, fangs in her mouth.

She is a vampire. What happened?

She moved and grabbed her phone and texted Damon.
911 I died, I am a vampire now.

Damon woke up to his phone and as soon as he read the message, he sobered up and vamp speed to the hospital. He quickly made a stop at Ellie's. She still had a heartbeat and was snoring.

He went to Caroline's room and saw her pacing a hole in the floor. He gently grabbed her arms and moved her to the bed.

Caroline started crying on his shoulder. She died. She can never have kids. Damon let her cry. No teenager should be turned against their will. He knows the feelings of not wanting to be a vampire.

She calmed down quite a bit and he started explaining to her,"I know a witch, she will make you a daylight ring. I will get it to you by tomorrow. Bonnie is too judgemental and hates vampires. Hers will come with terms. Tonight I will compel the nurses to discharge you. Tomorrow I will teach you to feed and not to let your new instincts to run crazy. Okay. You are going to be fine."

Damon knew he have to try to help her. She's like a talkative fungi and the two Salvatores quickly cared for the girl. Caroline took in his words, eternally grateful he's helping her.

She doesn't know how she would have survive this , if she had not met the two Salvatores.

She sighed and nodded. Damon told her,"Go to sleep and I will see you tomorrow."

Damon went to Ellie's room, not daring to move until the morning. What if Katherine tries to kill her too?

The next morning , he informed Ellie of what had happened. And to say she was surprised, was an understatement. She did not expect that. She was glad Damon was helping Caroline.

But for everyone's safety, Caroline and Ellie was going to be separated for a bit, until she learns control. Caroline agreed with that, but Ellie wanted to support her. They were going to call each other. Informing one another about everything.

Caroline just wanted everyone to be safe. She did not want to be a killer. It was for the better if they do not see each other for a bit.

Damon took Caroline home at the end of the day and supplied her some blood bags for the night.
