"I don't know about this, Zach." Adrianne said nervously.

"I promise you'll have fun." Zach smiled as he grabbed Adrianne's hand and lead her to the ferris wheel. He handed two tickets to the ride attendant and proceeded to get on. He looked back to see Adrianne no budging. He got out and stood by her side.

"You know I hate heights, Zach." She cut her eyes at him.

"You have to face your fears. Never let them get the best of you." Zach said sweetly staring Adrianne directly in her eyes.

"Everybody says that. It's not that easy."

"I'll be right there next to you. I swear I won't let anything happen to you."

"Bu-"

"Just trust me." He smiled taking her arm and guiding her to the ride. The attendant came around and locked them in. As the ride started to move, Adrianne closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around Zach.

"I don't like this." She repeated.

"You're not letting yourself enjoy it. Lay back in the seat. You look uncomfortable." He said with a slight chuckle. Adrianne cut her eyes at Zach causing him to shut up. She did as he said and laid back in the seat. She closed her eyes as she tried to calm herself. She felt Zach's fingers intertwine with hers.

"I love you. Don't forget about me." He whispered placing a light kiss on her ear.

"What?" Adrianne's eyes popped open as she held a confused look on her face. Zach said nothing more as he kissed her hand a gently floated away.

"Wait! Please don't leave me. Not again." Adrianne screamed as tears escaped her eyes. Zach never responded as disappeared from existence. Adrianne held her head down as she continued to cry.

Jumping out of her sleep, Adrianne looked around to see nothing but her pitch black room. The time on her clock read 3:30am. Luckily she had time to get herself together without having to worry about school or dealing with Kahari this early. She wiped her face noticing the tears were real.

Creeping, she quietly went over to Kahari's crib to make sure she was ok. The toddler was sleeping peacefully with no care in the world. Adrianne couldn't help but notice how much she looked like her father. Her Auburn hair came from Zach's side of the family. He and his mother shared the same color. When Kahari smiled, it was like Adrianne was having flashbacks.

"I guess it is true what people say. It's really hard to not miss someone you really loved." She thought to herself as she ran her fingers over a picture of her a Zach laughing together in the park.

"I miss you so much." She whispered kissing the photo. She climbed back into bed staring at the ceiling until she fell asleep.

"Congrats! You have a healthy baby girl." The nurse exclaimed bringing in their newborn child.

"This feels amazing." Zach held the tiny baby into his large hands. He looked over her in awe as he took in her features.

"Can I hold her?" Adrianne spoke.

"Of course." Zach gently placed the baby into her arms. The baby squirmed and fussed.

"Oh no! I'm hurting her!" Adrianne began to cry as well as the baby.

"It's ok. Just hold her to where you both are comfortable. Everything will be ok." The nurse calmed Adrianne. She fixed herself to where she thought her and the baby were comfortable. Soon enough they both were calm and had fallen asleep.
