CHAPTER 36: Preparations

It has been a month since the couple came back to Manila. Mason was once again occupied with tons of her work loads but made sure to keep her promise of giving her fiancé its much needed attention. On the other hand, since Mason was busy, Malory kept herself occupied in pursuing her talent in arts. In the span of one month, she was able to produce two paintings that was now displayed on a famous art museum. A lot of audiences resonated with Malory's vibrant yet calm paintings, mostly depicting her contentment and love towards her lover.

Today was Mason's day off and she extended her rest day for two weeks because the couple agreed that they need to start settling for their wedding preparations. Filled with excitement and anticipation, both couple started their research and even contacted one of the best wedding planner in town.

"Uyab, if it's going to be in Santorini wala namang problema about sa transportation ng guests. We can book planes to accommodate all of them." Mason calmly said as she continued browsing on her laptop.

"Hindi ba sobrang gastos nun? Tignan mo yung guest list natin ang dami. Almost 100 plus. Hindi ka kaya ma-bankrupt niyan?" Malory said, her voice filled with genuine concern. As much as she wants a lot of people to witness their much awaited wedding, hindi niya parin mapigilan na mag-alala sa gastusin lalo na't halos lahat ay sagot ni Mason. She was currently situated between Mason's legs, both of them observing the lists that they made.

"I'm prepared. Besides, I want the both of us to enjoy the wedding. You shouldn't think about that, uyab. I guess I'll have to rethink my list of guest. Kasi yung iba rito mga kaibigan ko lang naman when it comes to business." Bahagyang napakamot sa ulo si Mason. Halos kahalati ng nasa guest list nila ay mga kaibigan niya sa negosyo dahil sa malawak niyang koneksyon sa industriya.

"Alright. Eh what about the color motif? Di parin tayo nagkakasundo between black, dusty blue, and sage green."

"Ayaw mo kasi mag-agree sakin with black. Diba sabi mo before you can't go wrong with black?" Mason said, her voice slightly teasing Malory which caused the latter to smack her arm lightly.

"Eh kasi naman! Parang pang-patay! Mas maganda soft colors lang no. Pick between dusty blue and sage green."

"Hmm.. What if i-wheel of names natin? Since we both like those colors and we can't pick edi let the wheel decide." At first, Malory hesitated to agree with her lover's suggestion dahil parang nilaro naman but after realizing that they're really having a hard time to choose, she quickly typed on the laptop's browser and went to the website.

"Okay! Ako pipindot ah. Whatever the wheel decides, ayun na yun." Malory heaved the biggest sigh as if they're on a life and death situation. She clicked the 'spin' button and both of them intently stared at the screen.

The wheel gradually stopped and it landed on sage green which made Malory jump on the bed because she was the one who suggested this color. Mason can only laugh, her eyes turning into a crescent as she watched how Malory bounced on the bed.

Mason pulled Malory down on the bed and hugged the latter's body, both of them giggling.

The day went on with them finalizing the list of their preferences for their wedding at agad na sinend ito sa wedding planner nila.

After a week

Mason and Malory got everything settled for the week with the help of their wedding planner and friends. The only thing left for them to do is to attend their wedding fittings which will be done in a week.

The couple are currently in Mason's penthouse. Dahil sa isang linggong leave ni Mason sa kumpanya ay madami siyang kailangang tapusin kaya napagkasunduan nila ng nobya na manatili muna sa penthouse nito. Kasalukuyang nasa office room si Mason habang si Malory naman ay nasa kwarto. She's also busy as she was trying to find inspirations for the wedding cake that they plan to have for the wedding. Mason offered to help but the younger insisted that she can handle things this time at mas dapat unahin ni Mason ang trabaho.
