I know this punching bag didn't deserve any of it. It's completely blameless, yet here I am, pummeling it relentlessly. I've lost track of how long I've been at it. I've been in this hotel gym for God's know how long, channeling every bit of my pent-up adrenaline, frustration, and stress. It's all because of the argument I had with Charlotte last night.

I haven't slept at all.

Usually, wine knocks me right out, but not this time. The effects wore off the second Charlotte stormed out of the suite. I didn't even know where she went; I couldn't call her because she'd left her phone scattered on the floor.

Around 2 a.m., I texted the elite team's group chat out of desperation. It wasn't until Nudee replied that I felt a small, fragile sense of relief-Charlotte was at her suite, asleep.

I finally stopped my assault on the punching bag, feeling sweat drip down my forehead and my breathing turn ragged. Another minute of this, and I might have actually passed out. I reached for my water bottle and took a long drink, the cool liquid soothing my burning throat.

I glanced at the clock-7 a.m. Great, I'd officially spent three hours in the gym. I'd arrived when it was still dark and empty, and now, people were starting to trickle in for their morning workouts.

Grabbing my duffel bag, I headed toward the elevator, taking deep breaths to steady myself.

As I reached the floor where my suite was, I noticed the door to Tina and Heidi's suite slightly ajar. Tina was in the living room, focused on her laptop. I stepped inside, and she immediately looked up.

"Hey," she greeted with a smile. "You're up early."

I walked over to the couch and sank into a cushion, deliberately putting some distance between us. My gaze drifted toward the bedroom-Heidi was still asleep, lost in her dreams, while her girlfriend was already up and working. Tina had this weird habit of waking up at the crack of dawn; it didn't surprise me that she was wide awake now, even at this hour.

Her laptop was open, the glow of the screen illuminating her face.

"I haven't slept at all," I murmured, almost to myself.

She raised an eyebrow, looking concerned. "Wow... What kept you up all night?"

I stayed quiet for a moment, rubbing my forehead and closing my eyes.

"I had a little fight with Charlotte," I admitted, and she chuckled lightly in response.

I opened my eyes and locked onto hers. "Tell me, what's the deal between Charlotte and Troy? Why do they seem so... close? A little too-"

She bit her lip, trying not to laugh, but my stare hardened, and she finally sighed, holding back her giggles.

"Is that what the fight was about?" she asked.

I nodded, my brow furrowing. "Yes. And another thing."

She hesitated, looking off to the side as if weighing her words carefully. "I have no idea, honestly," she finally replied, her voice laced with uncertainty.

I narrowed my eyes, suspicion creeping in. There was no way she didn't know anything.

"Seriously, P'Fa! I don't know anything." She raised her hands in surrender. "But, if I had to guess... They've known each other forever. I guess they just a good match."

My eyes widened, and she quickly added, "I mean, as friends! Relax. What are you even thinking?"

I shook my head, feeling a heat rise in my chest. "I swear, if you said they were a good match for anything other than friends, I'd be furious, Tina." I said, my voice dead serious.
