A week had passed since The Eternal Inferno vanished without a trace.

Leon Montoya's empire was crumbling.

The stock market plummeted, investors were livid, and even though the diamond had been insured, Consillium Ignis faced a deeper crisis-one that no payout could fix. The elites who once backed them now whispered about betrayal and incompetence.

Their credibility was shattered. An emergency high council meeting was called.

Leon, sleepless and burning with determination, knew that something had gone wrong-something orchestrated in the shadows at the event.

He and his team scoured every piece of footage, every blink of a camera, and scrutinized the guests' movements down to the smallest detail.

But no matter how hard they looked, there was no explanation for how the heist was pulled off.

The FBI had returned, reigniting the case after over a year of silence in the world of grand larceny. They reopened the infamous Voss case, which many believed had died with the supposed death of Voss. Now, however, their focus had shifted to a new target: Jeff Satur, the man they believed was the true mastermind behind this intricate heist.

Leading the charge was a new agent making waves in the department, Agent Callaway. This agent was no stranger to high-stakes cases. He had earned a reputation for cracking one of the most elusive and dangerous cartels in recent history, taking down its untouchable leader.

With Callaway now taking over the Voss case, there was no doubt he was determined. More than that, he was relentless, ready to chase down every lead, no matter where it took him.

This twist put Leon Montoya, Jeff Satur, and the entire high council in a position they hadn't expected-to be played.

Anastasia Volkov was forced to retreat temporarily, pulling back her operations and influence over the Russian rebellion. The high council couldn't afford any more attention on them-especially not now. They were teetering on the brink of losing their hold as the world's elite. The smallest slip could unravel everything.

But Leon Montoya wasn't one to retreat.

His ambition, fierce as ever, refused to let go of their influence in Russia. Pulling back, he believed, would only prove to the world's elite that Consillium Ignis was vulnerable. He urged Anastasia to stay the course, defying the high council's warnings, determined to maintain their power.

Meanwhile, Charlotte decided to stay in Antwerp for as long as Engfa needed her.

She now walked through Warasorn Diamonds' newest production facility-a sleek, state-of-the-art building. Warasorn Diamonds had already established a branch office in Brussels when they expanded into Belgium just over a year ago, but the main production remained in Bangkok.

This was precisely why they decided to open a facility in Europe, with Antwerp being the chosen location.

As Charlotte entered the heavily secured building, escorted by Meena, the tension in the air was palpable. Meena glanced over at her and whispered, "Char, just a heads up-this meeting is going to be intense. You'll need to stay sharp and keep an open mind. Be aware of everything happening around you."

Charlotte gave a small nod. "I know. P'Fa told me last night."

Meena's expression darkened as they stepped into the elevator. "Good. Just don't let Victoria's words get under your skin. She's dangerous with how she manipulates people."

Charlotte's gaze stayed steady. "Don't worry. I won't let her get to me."

Meena looked at her with suspicion, raising an eyebrow. She knew Charlotte was strong, but Victoria had a way of twisting words that could get under anyone's skin.
