Walking in the market area of this town, I've come to realise on thing and that is, you can never hide from dirty looks, anywhere you go.

After being locked up in a room for three days, my free spirit was starving for fresh air and so, I came outside the mansion in order to explore the town.

Ofcourse with Daisy and Ben, because for some reason Cedric doesn't want me to go alone outside the house. And I've come to know that it's indeed very serious because he couldn't truly bring himself to speak about it to me whereas he's always the first one to speak nonsense.

And because I don't want to force it out of him, so I didn't bother asking him about anything. Just came out to take a look around the market.

I have come to this place before but I couldn't explore it completely because of those ladies and after that day, never got the time to go out so finally after so long, I feel it refreshing to be out of the mansion for once and not stuck inside my room, reading some random novel again.

I didn't even like reading novels but because there are no mobile phones in existence right now so there's no other way to entertain myself, well apart from exploring places like this or go watch some soap operas.

Well, actually there are phones in existence but it's those telephone ones which is only a luxury for the high ranking nobles in both England and in India or so what, Cedric told me.

"Hey Ben?"

Ben who was busy looking at everyone passing by wishpering people with a death glare, turned towards with a somewhat calm but expressionless face.

"Just what kind of work is Cedric stuck into?"

Ben rubbed his chiseled chin and looked a bit hesitant still after thinking for a few seconds, he began to speak.

"Oh actually there was a little conflict between the viceroy's members and there's also this contagious disease which is now growing at a bad speed. So Cedric sir was called here to investigate the situation. Or that's what I have heard from my senior."

Even Ben doesn't seem to be having any proper idea about the details.

Yeah now that I remember, I have read in a book there was a small war around this time but where, I don't quite remember because history's not in my favourite subjects list in whatsoever circumstances. So practically, maybe it's because of that?

I mean the conflict must have faced a loss and now even to fill the loss, they must be tormenting us Indians as the slaves. Although I am not sure if I have read or heard about any disease around this time. What kind of disease is it?

Just what have I actually agreed to, I can't exactly make out.

As I roamed my eyes a bit more around the vegetable and fruits market, I saw the fruits and vegetables are very unfamiliar to me.

I mean it's still pronounced the same but they look a bit...different from how I am used to see it.

Walking towards a fruits' stall, I picked up a good looking apple and taking a glance at the vendor, when I asked for the price, I was stunned for a minute there.

I mean anyone would be if the price of one apple is just two paise. Sure it is cheaper as compared to the apples from my time but still it's too cheap that I am having second thoughts about buying this one.

I didn't look at my personal maid and asked her,"Should I buy this?"

Not even a second passed by when I said it when I felt a gentle hand holding my hand and pulling it behind my face and all of a sudden I heard a crunch sound and felt a hot breath fanning over my exposed neck.
