N/A: It made me sad to write this chapter, the same way I felt when I saw it in the movie (RIP the Weasley house) :( I split it into two parts because it would have been too long otherwise.
Warning: It mentions the typical symptoms of a panic attack.

Ángeles' POV

It had been two weeks since Draco and I had gone to Hogsmeade, and to my surprise, we were closer than ever, but not united by a simple mission where we couldn't afford to fail and had to work as a team; we were united because we wanted to be. That earned him a few jibes from his stupid friends for, as they put it, 'acting soft,' but I couldn't have cared less... Well, at least for me. I knew it was still difficult for him, but I could feel how much he enjoyed being with me. Besides, I could read his mind (even if he didn't know it yet), and I knew it was true. I still remembered how much they mocked him when I called him a cute nickname in front of everyone, but I also remembered how happy he was to hear it.

'Will you wait for me a second?' Ángeles said, getting up from her seat. 'I need to go to the bathroom. Save me some chicken; you know it's my favorite.'
'Of course, whatever you want,' Draco replied with a sympathetic expression.
'I won't be long, love,' she said just before kissing his cheek and getting up, walking away from the table.
'Love?' Blaise asked, laughing. 'Malfoy, since when do you get called love?'
'Yeah, Malfoy,' Adrian Pucey continued. 'Does Ángeles call you that before tucking you in and telling you a bedtime story?'
Even Crabbe and Goyle were laughing!
'And why do you care?' Draco asked, clearly annoyed. 'How she wants to call me is none of your business.'
They all continued to laugh at him and make kissing sounds while forming hearts with their wands.
'Alright, alright, guys,' Marcus Flint intervened, causing Draco to wear a calm expression. 'We can't blame Malfoy, can we? For a girl like that, who wouldn't want to be called love?'
'What the hell are you saying, Flint?' Draco asked, getting up from his seat and throwing a threatening glance as he approached him.
'What I'm saying, Malfoy,' Flint replied with a mocking look, 'is that a girl like that could call me whatever she wanted. Damn it, Malfoy, what did she see in you? Was it your money? Or is there something else? Because if it's something else, I could offer her more than you.'
'Enough, Flint,' Blaise intervened, pulling both guys apart. 'Don't be an idiot. You're crossing a line.'
Draco was still furious, looking at Flint with disgust, thinking about attacking him if he didn't shut his stupid mouth.
'Oh, come on, Zabini, I'm just joking,' Flint retorted. 'But I can't blame Malfoy for being jealous; let's be realistic, I'd feel the same way if I had a beauty like that by my side. You know what they say about Latinas, right, Malfoy? Ángeles doesn't seem to be the exception.'
Draco couldn't take the anger anymore. How could they refer to her that way? And in front of him?
'I don't want to hear her name coming out of your disgusting mouth again, do you understand, Flint?' Draco said, pointing his wand at Marcus's neck. 'You have no right to talk about her like that.'
'What are you going to do, Malfoy? Are you going to report me with your p... What's happening!?' Marcus exclaimed as he began to float at high speed. 'Put me down, Malfoy! It's not funny!'
'Of course it's funny!' Ángeles replied, arriving triumphantly. 'Oh, Flint, if I had known you'd let me call you whatever I wanted, I would have called you an idiot a long time ago... but it wouldn't have been as fun.'
Everyone at the Slytherin table and even those at the other tables started laughing.
'Come on, Rasmüssen,' Marcus pleaded. 'You know I was just joking... Could you please put me down?'
'Nope,' Ángeles replied without looking at him. 'I don't remember the counter-curse to do it, but don't worry; you'll come down on your own in an hour or two.'
Draco couldn't stop smiling as he watched that girl serve herself food and eat as if nothing was happening.
'Thanks for saving me a portion, love,' Ángeles said, emphasizing the nickname.
'You're amazing, did you know that?' he said, not taking his eyes off her.
