N/A: This chapter is a bit long, but think of it as the calm before the storm (i'll give you a hint: fire). Besides, who wouldn't want to read about Draco Malfoy in love? <3
Ángeles' POV
"Do you think I should wear this?" I said, showing a pair of tight pants made of a leather-like material.
"Angie, you've been trying to pick out something to wear for two hours..." he said, exasperated. "Whatever you wear, he's going to like it, I mean, everything looks good on you."
"Please, Theo," I said, rolling my eyes. "This is important to me, and I don't want to look bad. I've been waiting for a moment like this for years!"
"'A moment like this?' What do you mean by that? It's just a stupid date with Malfoy at 'The Three Broomsticks', nothing more..."
"Exactly! What if he asks me to be his girlfriend or something? I have to look at least somewhat presentable, don't you think? Besides, I already asked him to accompany me to Slughorn's Christmas dinner, I want him to see that his girl can dress up well," I said, smiling with pride.
"His girl?" he said in a more mocking tone than I would have liked to hear. "Since when are you his girl?"
"Don't tease me, Theo," I said, laughing and blushing. "You'll understand when you fall in love."
"Mhm..." he replied without looking at me.
Ignoring Theo and his, well, lack of attention, I decided on those pants. Since it was a bit cold, I also chose a dark green oversized sweater, along with the green combat boots I'd worn more than once. I opted for subtle makeup, just so I wouldn't scare Draco with a nighttime look for a daytime date. His ring was still on my hand, with my nails painted black.
"And? What do you think?" I asked, turning towards Theo.
Theo, who was lying on my bed against the wall, sat up. He looked me up and down before standing up and taking my hand, making me spin around.
"You look... you look great, Angie," he said with a smile.
"Do you think he'll like me?" I asked nervously.
"Malfoy would be crazy not to like you," he said, still smiling, with a gentle look in his eyes.
Theo always knew how to make me feel good, even if that wasn't his intention. He was very considerate, and even though I knew he didn't really like Draco, he was slowly getting better at dealing with me when it came to anything involving him. After all, that's what friends do, right? They support your decisions as long as you know what you're deciding.
"Is it already four o'clock?" I asked, checking my watch. "Damn! I need to go or I'll be late! Bye, Theo," I said, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Lock up when you leave."

I had arrived just in time to see Draco at a table, waiting for me. It must have been the first time I'd seen him in casual clothes-wearing a black coat and his Slytherin scarf, along with the cold and challenging look he always had when he was alone... I was sure he was the most attractive guy I'd ever seen.
Upon hearing my steps, his gaze met mine, a smile breaking across his face.
"Sorry I'm late," I said, smiling and setting my bag down on the table. "I didn't know what to wear."
"Whatever you put on would look good on you, Rasmüssen," he said with a smile, standing up to pull out my chair for me, helping me sit down while holding my hand with his.
"Thank you, Malfoy," I said with a huge smile, completely blushing.
We ended up sitting across from each other, and without me even realizing it, he rested one of his arms on the table, gesturing for me to take his hand. When I did, he started gently tracing circles on my hand with his finger, never taking his eyes off me. God, I loved it. I couldn't stop staring at him with a foolish smile, thinking he must think I'm a fool. But well, who could blame me? After all, this was my first date...
