I threw my hands over my face, sliding my fingers into the roots of my hair, my head felt light.

Its obvious I made Zoey feel uncomfortable, I shouldn't have even kissed her.

I walked around in a circle, keeping my hand on my forehead. What was I supposed to do now?

The thing was I didn't even know if I liked Zoey yet. Honestly what I did back there just felt like a reflex, like my body was being controlled by someone else.

When Zoey pulled away from our kiss, her eyes were opened widely and her eyebrows were raised, like she had no idea what just happened.

I looked behind me and saw Zoey running over to me, carrying my school supplies, which I had forgotten back in her room. I didn't even have time to grab them on my way out, I just knew I wanted to leave, more specifically; leave Zoey alone.

I wanted to run off again and avoid the conversation with Zoey but I forced myself to stay still, I planted my feet into the ground and waited for Zoey to reach me.

Her shoes weren't put on right and her laces were undone, her hair was frizzy from being in the wind and she was out of breath by the time she reached me.

Once she did,  Zoey placed my things on the ground next to me then she bent her back forward and placed her hands on her knees, taking deep breaths, trying to put herself together.

"I'm sorry for, making you run off" She said, her voice soft but uneasy. "I didn't want to make you feel like you had to leave".

I crossed my arms.

- Did I make you uncomfortable? I asked.

Zoey looked down, she seemed deep in thought.

- I don't even know how I feel about it, still a bit shocked. I know I didn't hate it its just-.

Zoey stopped talking, she seemed like she was searching for an answer but couldn't find one.

- I think i need time to think about it, to figure out how it made me feel.

I nodded and grabbed my things from the ground. "I understand".

Zoey gave me a soft smile, she seemed like she felt overwhelmed, her eyebrows were still raised upwards.

- Would you like for my parents to drive you home? I can just ask them and -

- Its okay, don't worry. I don't live far. I'll walk.

Zoey smiled again. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow" she said.

I nodded before walking off, leaving Zoey behind.
