Chapter Twenty ~Christmas break~

~Christmas Break~

I lay on my bed, arm raised looking at the bracelet. It sparkled every time I moved it. Smiling to myself, I sit up.

Maddox barges into my room. "Do you not know how to knock?" I ask.

"Mm nope." He jumps onto my bed beside me.

"Of course not." I sigh.

"So what do you plan on doing for Christmas break?" He asks.

"Probably nothing. We don't exactly have a lot of money." I say.

"Well, what if I told you, my parents have a cabin in the mountains and I want you to come. We can even bring your very weird friends." He says.

"Why would I want to go to a cabin with you?" I ask.

"Because I'm your boyfriend and you want to spend alone time with me." He smirks.

"So full of yourself. But I suppose that would be okay. And my friends aren't that weird." I roll my eyes.

"They are weird. Laura keeps calling me Mr. Hot stuff."

"You have a problem with someone calling you hot?" I get up and straddle his waist. His hands go to my waist.

"I only like it when you call me hot." He draws circles on my sides.

"Well I'm not calling you hot."

"You don't think I'm hot?" He raises his brow.

"Nope." I chuckle when he makes a face. In a swift motion he flips us over.

"Are you sure about that?" He asks.

"Oh I'm positive."

He nods sitting up and takes his shirt off. "How about now?" He asks.

My eyes rake over his chest down to his six pack. "I'm not convinced." I say biting my lip.

"Dangerous game your playing babe." He says leaning down. He runs his nose up my neck purposely not kissing it.

"Maddox." I groan.

"I like when you say my name like that." He whispers. His hot breath fans my face.

"Can you stop being mean and just kiss me please?" I whimper.

He smirks before grabbing his shirt, getting off of me. "Sorry shortcake, I got some business to take care of."

"That's so fucking mean." I groan.

"That's why you like me." He laughs as he leaves.

Ugh, he wanted to tease me? Well guess what two could play that game. I pull my phone out and text Laura.

Tate: I need your help with something kind of intimate.

Laura: Oh hell yes! I'll be over in a few.

I smile to myself as I form a plan in my head.

I grab my bag and head out. When Laura pulls into the driveway I hurry over and get in. "Where to?" She asks.

"The mall." I say.

Once we arrive we go to Victoria secret. "So what exactly are we going for?" Laura asks.

"Well, let's just say Maddox is going to be teased. Since he wants to be a dick." I say.

"Okay. The real question, are you planning on giving him the v card?" She asks.

"I-I don't know." I shrug.

"Okay, well then. You let me go buy something for you. You can buy a cute, set." She pushes me towards the sets of lingerie.

I chose a red lacey set and pay for it, I pay with the money I had been saving. Once I get my stuff I wait outside since she didn't want me to see what she was getting.

She finally comes out. "Okay this is my Christmas gift to you." She hands me the box. "Also don't peek at it until you need it." She warns.

We then roam around while I inform her of the plans Maddox made.

"Thanks for the help Laura." I say getting out of her car.

"Just know I expect all the details." She laughs. I shake my head and carry the stuff inside. I decide to put it in my closet.

When I'm done, I lay back down.

"How much longer?" Maddie whines.

"You just asked two minutes ago." Laura glares at her.

"You two please don't start fighting." Grace sighs. Fay grabs her hand and kisses it.

Another ten minutes later and we finally get there.

"Uh you said a cabin this is like a cabin mansion." Maddie says.

We get out and Maddox being a gentleman grabs everyone's bags. We walk in and immediately everyone runs off to choose a room.

I wait till Maddox comes in before grabbing my bag. "I can carry that for you." He says grabbing his own.

"I'm aware, but I'm a strong woman." I say.

"Come on." I follow him through to a set of double doors. When I try to open it it's locked.

"I knew they would rush to find the best room so I had it locked and only I have a key." He pulls a key out and opens the doors.

Inside there was a fireplace, a king size bed, with four posts. There was also a tv, a desk and a shelf of books.

I put my bag down and look around. I found an attached bathroom. When I come back I see he was about to unpack my bag. I run over and block his path.

"No no. I got it." I say. That wasn't suspicious at all.

He raises his brows at me.

"I just, I got your gift in there and I don't want you to see it." I admit.

"I can act surprised." He says.

"Don't ruin it." I pout.

"Fine." He puts his own clothes away.

Once he goes to check in the others I quickly put my own clothes away. I take the black bag that held the set I bought, and the one Laura bought me, I hide it under the bed.
