~Epilogue ~I pace the bathroom back and forth nervously. This was probably the tenth test I've taken in the last week. When my timer goes off I look and of course it's negative just like the other nine.
I sigh and toss it in the trash. I wash my hands and walk. Of course by my expression Maddox already knows. "I don't know why you keep doing this to your self shortcake." He sighs getting up and coming over and hug me.
"Because.." I mumble.
"It will happen on its own. Now your weirdo friends called and said they were all at the restaurant." He says.
"Admit it, they are your friends too." I push him away.
"I don't have friends." He gaps.
"Then what's Alex?" I ask.
"He use to be my friend until Madison turned him into a wuss." He grumbles.
I roll my eyes grabbing my jacket and keys. "Are you coming or are you going to pout all day?" I ask.
"If I pout will you stay home and love me?" He asks.
"No." I say bluntly.
"Fine." He sighs grabbing his jacket. We leave and get to the restaurant. It's easy to find them since my friends were loud.
"About time you got here. I wouldn't be surprised if it took you guys so long because you were fucking."
"Laura, what is your obsession with our sex life?" Maddox asks sitting beside me.
"I'm addicted to sex." She says.
"Duh, we already knew that." He rolls his eyes.
"What can I get you to drink?" The waiter ask.
Everyone orders their drinks. "So what's up with this meet up?" I ask.
"Yeah, you know how much our babysitter is charging us for a school night?" Grace says. They had adopted the cutest little boy.
"Well, we have gathered you here for some exciting news." Maddie says.
Under the table Maddox grabs my hand, because I knew what was coming. "Well are having a baby." Everyone erupts in cheers.
"You know your vagina is gonna be fucked right?" Laura says.
"How do you think I ended up pregnant?" Maddie asks winking.
"I gotta use the restroom." I say. Maddox lets me out. Once in the bathroom I can't stop the tears.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for them, I really am. Maddie walks in before I could dry my tears.
"What's wrong?" She asks coming over to hug me.
"Nothing, I'm fine." I lie.
"Tatum don't lie to me." She frowns.
"Fine. It's just, I don't think I can give Maddox a child. What if, what if bean was our only chance? I'm the one who lost her." I sniffle.
