Taehyun wouldn't consider himself a greedy person. There was nothing that he lacked. He was born with a golden spoon and everything was given to him, spoon fed even. He hadn't need to even lift a finger before the housekeepers came scrambling to him, tending to his unsaid needs and wants. He could obtain everything he wanted, and conveniently dispose anything he wished to get rid of, be it objects or humans. He had more than what he wanted in most times. What could he possibly be greedy of?

Greed was something he planted in simple minded people, not in himself.

Alas, he became a victim of greed in the form of a boy named Choi Beomgyu.

Taehyun wanted Beomgyu so badly and he could never get enough of him. He already had Beomgyu, but he still craved for more. And he kept craving.

Taehyun had already tasted Beomgyu's lips, explored the warmth of his mouth. His hands had caressed most parts of him, tracing the curves and lines of his body. But it wasn't enough. He wanted more. He wanted to cover every inch of Beomgyu, to claim him entirely, to make him his in every way imaginable.

"That's borderline obsessive and possessive."

Taehyun turned his head towards his best friend's direction.

"He's definitely a psychopath. I mean, how can he falsely attribute his obsession and possessiveness as a form of love? They're so different from what love is."

"Literally, it's scary how he's using it as a means to manipulate and maintain power over his partner." This time, it was Taehyun's cousin who spoke, contributing to the conversation.

Taehyun blinked at tv screen before them, watching how the psychopathic main lead gifted his partner a necklace made of cats' teeth, of which he had secretly killed without anyone knowing or finding out.

Stroking his white cat's fluffy fur, which was perched on his lap, Taehyun could at least confirm that he was not a psychopath. He would never kill animals.

Just as he was about to lean down to show Powder more aggressive affection, the cat deliberately leaped off his lap.

"Don't you think animals could tell psychopaths apart? They tend to avoid or hiss at them, right? Also, look, that psychopath is trying to reach for the stray cat again."

The comments that left his cousin's boyfriend's lips had Taehyun's hands frozen in place. He was just about to reach out to Powder, having wanted her back on his lap.

"It's said that psychopathy is chiefly inherited and a genetic condition. There are also some really well known psychopaths, and they're mostly smart as fuck. Do you think majority of the psychopaths is smart?"

"No" Taehyun quickly rejected the idea, now resting his hands at his sides, "that's not true. There's no correlation between high IQ and psychopathy. There are psychopaths with average or even below average IQ. There is no majority that are smart."

"Oh, you'll never know. Maybe they're so smart that they can manipulate and control their own IQ tests" Yeonjun joked.

Taehyun frowned at that.

"Speaking of IQ, I've been wondering" Soobin scooted closer to Taehyun with a tablet in his hand, "have you ever asked Beomgyu to take an IQ test? Look at this."

The taller man turned on his tablet and opened a file labelled as "Beomgyu's math solution".

"I've seen this already... it's the file I sent you" Taehyun replied after he took a glance at the screen.
