In the following months, Hollow and Radi got married, and Wyrm stepped down as king allowing Hollow to officially take over as king. Wyrm and Root retired to the Queen's Gardens; they work together to raise all the other vessels. Ash and Daisy had their wedding, the citizens saw their marriage as a symbol of the mantis tribe and the hive uniting as one. Clover and Reed spend most of their time raising their three children. Hornet and Quirrel are happy and live in solitude with their children, visiting the others often. Oro and the Godseeker announced that they would begin dating. Mato and Shella moved to the capital, Iron and Steel were getting old enough to go to school now. Ivy and Thorn decided to return to the village to be closer to their grandchildren. Ghost and Acacia decided to move out to the Resting Grounds. The family gets together every week to check out on one another, one day, as Ghost and Acacia make their way to Dirtmouth, a very familiar face greets them.

"Dad!" A bug shouts from a short distance.

"Scarlet!? When did you get back!?" Ghost asked.

"Just a few days ago! What the hell did I miss?" Scarlet asked curiously.

"Quite a lot, I will fill you in at a later date." Acacia coughed from behind him.

"Um, Dad? Excuse me? You never said you had a daughter already." Acacia had her arms crossed over her chest.

"Not biological. I adopted Scarlet after I defeated her biological father, Grimm, in a duel to the death." Ghost answered as if that was a normal sentence.

"Oh, well Scarlet, a pleasure to meet you. I'm Acacia." Acacia said, holding a hand out to Scarlet.

"Nice to meet you too!" Scarlet enthusiastically wrapped her arms around Acacia.

"Woah okay then," Acacia said, surprised that Scarlet was so friendly.

"Scarlet, Acacia is my wife. Which would technically make her your mother." Ghost said, Acacia's face getting a little red.

"Awesome! I've always wanted a Mom! Can I call you Mom?" Scarlet asked with a lot of energy.

"Uhhh... Sure I guess." Acacia was so confused by everything that was happening that she just went along with whatever was happening.

"Yay! Hey Dad, you are never gonna guess what I found on my travels!" Scarlet turned to Ghost.

"What did you find kiddo?" Ghost asked.

The two talked and Ghost wrapped his arm around Acacia, the two talked and talked. Walking back to the house, Scarlet had been telling them all about her adventures across the other kingdoms surrounding Hallownest. By the end of her stories, the three had arrived at the house at Kingdom's edge. Scarlet decided to stay with them. And many more months later Acacia gave birth to two little ones. One a Mantis, the other looking like a vessel. The whole kingdom rejoiced in the healthy birth of Ghost's children. A vessel having children was unheard of before this moment. Hollownest continued, Hollow and Radi, its rulers. Ghost and Acacia, its guardians. Through them, Hollownest lasts eternal.
