Liliana stood backstage, her heart racing with anticipation. Today was a big day. She, along with her teammates—Mariah, Minsu, Luana, Eliška, and Chloe—were set to perform in front of the management at JYP Entertainment. The stakes were high, and they were determined to leave a lasting impression.

The five girls wore matching outfits that perfectly embodied their vibe: sleek, modern, and effortlessly chic. They had chosen fitted black crop tops that accentuated their figures, each adorned with subtle silver sequins that shimmered under the stage lights. Their high-waisted, wide-legged pants were a deep emerald green, flowing gracefully as they moved. The finishing touches included chunky black boots and delicate silver hoop earrings, giving them an edgy yet polished look.

As they prepared for their performance, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement.

The trio of Liliana, Chloe, and Minsu had spent countless hours writing their RnB song, aptly titled “Faded Memories.” It was a soulful reflection on heartbreak, capturing the raw emotions of a breakup. The writing process had been a cathartic experience for them, filled with late-night jam sessions and heartfelt discussions.

“Let’s focus on the message,” Chloe had said during one of their writing sessions. “It’s about feeling lost after love, about the moments that linger even when the relationship is over.”

Liliana had nodded, adding, “And how sometimes, even when you try to move on, those memories can come rushing back.”

Minsu chimed in, “We need to make sure the lyrics reflect that pain, but also a sense of empowerment.”

The lyrics had flowed naturally, each girl contributing her own experiences. They’d crafted verses that painted vivid pictures of late-night phone calls, lingering glances, and the bittersweet nature of love. Mariah and Luana, with the help of their choreographer, had choreographed a seductive routine that complemented the song's themes, emphasizing the emotional highs and lows with graceful, fluid movements.

Now, as they stood backstage, they could hear the murmurs of the ten management representatives, including JYP himself, seated in the front row. With a deep breath, the girls huddled together for a final pep talk.

“Remember, we’ve got this,” Mariah said, her voice steadying the group. “Let’s show them what we’re made of.”

As the music began, Liliana took center stage. The moment she opened her mouth, the haunting melodies filled the room, weaving through the air. The choreography was electric, each movement telling a story as they synchronized perfectly. The sultry nature of the dance added depth to their performance, capturing the essence of the heartbreak expressed in their lyrics.

When they finished, the room erupted into applause. Liliana felt a wave of relief and joy wash over her as they took their bows.

Once offstage, the girls gathered together, hearts still racing. They waited anxiously for the feedback from the management team.

After a few moments, the representatives called them back  to share their thoughts.

Lee Soo-jin, management head, spoke first. “Your stage presence is exceptional. I felt the emotions behind the song. Great job!”

Park Joon-ho, another representative, added, “The choreography was innovative. It added an impressive layer to the performance. I’d love to see more of this style.”

Kim Hae-rin chimed in, “The lyrics were relatable, and the melody was catchy. I see potential for this song to resonate with our audience.”

Seo Min-kyung noted, “You girls have amazing chemistry on stage. It’s clear you’ve put in a lot of effort, and it shows.”
