Ishika stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her top, attempting to smooth out the minor wrinkles that marred her outfit. She couldn't shake the knot in her stomach as she took a deep breath. Tonight was meant to be a fun night out with her friends—a much-needed escape from the suffocating atmosphere that had enveloped her lately. She could almost hear Priya's laughter echoing in her mind, a sound that reminded her of better times when joy came easily.

"Are you ready yet?" Priya called from downstairs, her voice bursting with excitement. "We don't want to be late!"

"Yeah, just a minute!" Ishika replied, forcing a smile despite the unease swirling within her. As she took one last look at her reflection, she whispered to herself, Tonight is about you, Ishika. Have fun and be free. The moment Ishika stepped into the bustling café where her friends had gathered, the lively atmosphere enveloped her like a warm blanket. The laughter and chatter filled the air, a stark contrast to the silence that had haunted her in recent weeks. She felt a flicker of hope ignite within her. Maybe she could truly enjoy this night, if only for a little while.

"Finally! I thought we'd have to start without you!" Priya teased, pulling Ishika into a hug, her enthusiasm infectious."I wouldn't miss it for the world!" Ishika laughed, grateful for the familiar comfort of her friends. They settled into their seats, ordering drinks and sharing stories that made Ishika momentarily forget her troubles. As the night progressed, the chatter flowed freely. "So, what's everyone's plans for the weekend?" Neha asked, leaning forward with interest.

"I'm thinking of going hiking," Priya chimed in, her eyes sparkling. "I need some fresh air and a break from city life."

"Sounds amazing! I'd love to join!" Ishika said, her heart lifting at the thought of nature, away from everything that weighed her down.

"Count me in!" Aditi added. "I need to escape my own drama for a while." The group erupted in laughter, and for a moment, Ishika felt light, unburdened by the shadows that loomed behind her. Yet, as the laughter echoed around her, a shadow loomed over her joy. She felt a prickle of unease, and every time the door swung open, her heart raced, half-expecting Arav to walk in. She had told herself this was her night, and she wouldn't let him ruin it."Ishika, you good?" Priya asked, noticing her sudden silence.

"Yeah, just a little tired," Ishika replied, forcing a smile. She glanced at her friends, their faces illuminated with laughter, yet the fear that had been lurking in her mind cast a dark shadow over her heart."You need to relax. We're here to have fun!" Priya insisted, nudging her playfully. "Come on, let loose!" But just as Ishika began to feel the warmth of her friends, her worst fear materialized. Arav entered the café, scanning the room with a fierce intensity. His eyes locked onto hers, and her heart sank. She could feel the weight of his gaze, a storm brewing beneath the surface, dark and menacing.

"What's he doing here?" Ishika whispered, panic rising in her chest. "I don't know, but he looks furious," Priya replied, glancing over her shoulder. "Stay calm. Let's just enjoy our time." Before Ishika could respond, Arav made a beeline toward their table, his expression dark and intense. "What are you doing here, Ishika?" he demanded, his voice low but filled with fury. "I—uh, just hanging out with my friends," she stammered, her heart racing. She could feel the stares of the other patrons drilling into her back, the tension palpable.

"Hanging out? Looks more like you're trying to have a good time without me," he snapped, his tone harsh. The café quieted as other patrons turned to watch the scene unfolding."Arav, this isn't the place—" Ishika started, but he cut her off, gripping her arm tightly, his fingers digging into her skin. "Are you seriously going to embarrass me like this?" he growled, his eyes blazing with anger. "You're coming with me."
