"Gorgeous we are going to be late for the scan."

"I know I'm coming."

Marjorie walked downstairs in one of my hoodies and some leggings.

"You look-" before I could finish, she cut me off,

"What? Do I look bad?!"

"WHAT? NO you look gorgeous. Don't
ever say that about yourself."

"Sorry, it's just, my mum always did that shit to me when I was younger."

"One day I'll have to meet this 'mother' of yours."

"What and kill her, I don't think so." She narrowed her eyes at me.

"Well come on then, let's go find out the gender of our baby." I said excitedly.

"Marjorie knight?" The nurse came and called my name.
Me and Reece stood up and walked to the room. We were greeted by Katie, giving us a wide smile.

"Come on mama you know the drill." She smiled.
I got comfy on the bed and lifted my shirt.
"So this is your gender scan?" She asked, squirting the gel on my belly.
"Yep." I beamed
"And are you being told the gender, or having it put in an envelope?"

"We are being told." I said, squeezing Reece's hand.

"Well that's exciting. 16 weeks now aren't you?"

"Yep."

"Almost half way, how exciting. Right, let's see. So what we're gonna do, I'm going to ask you to close your eyes and I'll change the colour of the lights and when you open your eyes, you'll know baby boy or baby girl." She explained.
Me and Reece nodded along to what she
was saying.

"Right close your eyes, mum and dad." She said raising her eyebrows at Reece.

We closed our eyes and heard her moving around.

"Ready 3, 2, 1, open."

Me and Reece opened our eyes, the lights were a deep pink.
I looked over at Reece, his eyes already welling with tears.
"Holy shit." My voice cracked.

Reece stood up and wrapped his arms around me.
"I love this part." Katie said, watching us.

We both laughed at her, then looked eachother in the eyes.
He leant down a kissed my lips.
"Okay, you're allowed to kiss, but keep it at that."

Me and Reece rolled our eyes at eachother and then looked back at each other. Our teary eyes met.
"Do you have a bathroom or something around here?" I asked, feeling a wave of nausea.
"Just right through that door."

I sprung off of the bed and into the bathroom to throw up.
"Am I allowed to go in there with her?" I heard Reece ask outside.
"Yeah that's fine."

Reece walked into the bathroom and held my hair, his hand running over my back.
"My baby."
"This is the worst part." I said, tears prickling my eyes.
"And my hormones. I cried at everything before I got pregnant and now it's worse." I let the tears fall.

"Come here." Reece said, opening his arms.

I fell into them. He wrapped his arms around me tightly.
"I wish I could do something, anything to help, my poor baby." He stroked my hair gently and rested his head on mine.

"You two okay in there?" Katie called out.
"Yeah we'll be out in a minute." Reece shouted back.
"Take your time."

I soon collected myself and Reece helped me off the bathroom floor, flushed the toilet and helped me into the room with Katie.
"Right you are good to go, congratulations, and I'll see you at your next appointment. "
"Thank you, see you soon Katie."
"Bye guys."

—————(week time skip)—————

"Have you got everyone's stuff?" Reece called out.
"Yeah, just give me a minute." I shouted back.

Today was the day we were telling everone, that didn't already figure it out, that we're having a baby. Well everyone except our parents,  because let's be honest, they're dickwads.

"Right," I took a deep breath," let's go"

--(another timeskip but like 5 minutes)--

We pulled up outside of Mia and chars house. I figured that we would tell them first, since they live closer and probably cloudagh and Sorscha last because they live further away.

Me and Reece got their gift and knocked on the door. Mia answered," it's not Christmas yet, what's with the present?"

"Well it's for you, but we need to see you open it, char already knows about this."

"Speak of the devil and she shall appear." Char said, walking up behind Mia.
"Come on in you two."

We walked in the house and got seated in the living room.
"So what's this for?" Mia asked.
"Well this is for you," I handed her the present,"and char already knows about this little meeting, she didn't tell you?"

"No she failed to mention that." Mia said, putting her hand in the bag and pulling out the shirt,"read it." I said

We watched as she unfolded the shirt and read the text. Her jaw dropped,
"Shut the fuck up right now. You're lying to me. Reecey I swear if you are lying."

"We aren't lying. I'm pregnant." I smiled and watched tears fill her eyes and a few slip down her cheek. She got up and hugged me. I was slightly taken aback by it, I mean, if you said to me a year ago, I'd be married, pregnant and hugging charlottes girlfriend, I would have laughed in your face and carried on scrolling on anythingforafreemeal.com.
"Char, you knew?" She pulled away and stared at her girlfriend.

"I was the first person to know, I took the test with Marjorie. I knew before Reece."

"How far along are you?"

"17 weeks."

Her jaw dropped again,
"17 weeks and you managed to hide it?!"

"Yes, not got a really big bump yet so it's hard to tell, but if I wear like a skin tight top, you can tell."

"Do you know their gender yet, I mean, I found out at 14 weeks with my eldest." Char smiled.

"You'll have to wait until baby is born." I smirked at her, knowing that we were having a girl, but not wanting to say.
"You already know don't you?" She narrowed her eyes at me.
"Just so you know I guessed this when me and Aut came around and I kissed you."

"Amelia mae Robert's you kissed Marjorie! " Char shouted.

"Well we were interrupting marj and Reecey's little sex session and Marjorie left her shirt half unbuttoned and I said she was hot. But then Reece said to kiss her, so I did, but Marjorie didn't enjoy it." She said.

"No because I'm a happily married woman."

"Anyway, congrats you two, I'm going to make char tell me everything about the test story and probably get a fucking for kissing you."

"Didn't need to know how you two were going to spend your evening, especially not when this one was with you for 20 years and didn't know you were a lesbian." I nodded in Reece's direction.

"We best be heading off, see you soon." Reece said standing up.

I went over to char and hugged her tightly. I did the same to Mia and as we were walking out we heard Mia say to char" right, Charlotte Victoria, what happened, tell me everything."

I smiled at Reece and closed the door behind us,"who's next?"
