The morning after Sid’s birthday celebration, Shehnaaz and Sid visited the doctor to confirm the pregnancy. Sid had arranged for the appointment with Dr. Meera, a close friend of his from school, who now worked as an OB-GYN. The two sat nervously in the waiting room, holding hands, excited but anxious about what they would hear.

“Don’t worry, Misti Doi. Whatever happens, we’re in this together,” Sid reassured Shehnaaz, squeezing her hand gently.

Dr. Meera welcomed them into her office with a warm smile. “So, the rumors are true! You’re going to be parents,” she teased, hugging both of them.

After running a few tests and an ultrasound, Dr. Meera turned to Shehnaaz with a broad smile. “Well, I have some news for you. You’re not just five weeks pregnant—you’re expecting quadrilaterals!”

“Quadrilaterals?” Shehnaaz asked, confused.

“You’re having four babies—quadruplets!” Dr. Meera clarified, her eyes twinkling.

Sid and Shehnaaz stared at each other in shock, then burst out laughing. “Four kids?! At once?” Sid exclaimed, running a hand through his hair, still trying to process the news.

“Four mini SidNaaz!” Shehnaaz giggled, her nerves easing as she imagined their growing family.

Dr. Meera chuckled and continued, “I know it’s a lot to take in, but everything looks fine so far. There are a few precautions to take since multiple pregnancies can be a little more complicated. Make sure you get enough rest, eat well, and avoid stress. I’ll be monitoring you closely.”

Sid and Shehnaaz left the clinic, still dazed but excited. As they stepped outside, Sid lifted Shehnaaz in his arms. “Four babies, Misti Doi! Can you believe it?”

Shehnaaz laughed, wrapping her arms around him. “We’re going to be the busiest parents ever.”

Sharing the News with the Family

Later that day, Sid and Shehnaaz gathered both families once again to share the big news. This time, it wasn’t just about the pregnancy—it was about quadruplets.

As they broke the news, Rita Aunty, who had been recovering well, was speechless at first. But then she beamed with pride. “Four grandchildren at once? Sid, you and Shehnaaz never do anything halfway, do you?” she said, hugging Shehnaaz tightly.

Ashok Uncle couldn’t contain his laughter. “Well, I guess we’ll need to make room for a cricket team in the house!”

Neetu, Preeti, and their kids, Ansh and Ria, were just as excited. “Four new cousins!” Ansh exclaimed. “That’s going to be wild!”

Ria, who was 18 and in college with her twin brother, nodded, grinning. “And we get to be the cool elder cousins. This is going to be fun.”

Sid’s younger niece, Anyra, who was only six, jumped up and down in excitement. “Mama and Mami are going to have babies! Can I help take care of them?” she asked eagerly, hugging Sid and Shehnaaz.

Sid smiled, ruffling her hair. “Of course, Anyra. You’ll be the best big sister to them.”

The Wedding Date and Preparations

With the family overjoyed about the quadruplets, they quickly shifted to discussing the wedding. The families decided to finalize the date for January 21, 2016, just over a month away. The wedding would take place in Mumbai, a convenient location since Sid would be free from his cricket schedule until mid-February when the next series was set to begin.

“We have less than a month to plan everything,” Neetu said excitedly. “But don’t worry, Shehnaaz—we’ve got this covered. It’s going to be the most beautiful wedding ever.”

Sid also broke the news to his teammates, including MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, and Ravichandran Ashwin. When Sid shared that he was getting married and that Shehnaaz was pregnant with quadruplets, the locker room erupted in cheers and playful teasing.

“Four kids right out of the gate? You’re setting a high standard, bro!” Virat joked, giving Sid a pat on the back.

MS Dhoni, always the calm one, smiled and said, “Looks like you’ll need a bigger team at home before you even think about retiring from cricket.”

Shikhar Dhawan, known for his fun-loving nature, joined in the teasing. “Sid, with four kids, you’ll have your own cricket team soon. Better start training them early!”

Ashwin grinned. “You’ll be juggling diapers and centuries at the same time!”

Sid grinned, enjoying the camaraderie. “I’m ready for it. Bring on the chaos.”

Wedding preparations began in full swing. From choosing the venue to finalizing the guest list, the families worked together to make sure everything would be perfect. Shehnaaz’s friends from the YouTube world also pitched in, helping her select her wedding outfit and making sure every detail was in place. Despite all the excitement, Sid and Shehnaaz made sure to steal moments together in between the planning.

SidNaaz Moments

As the days went by, Sid and Shehnaaz spent more time together, enjoying their quiet moments before the wedding chaos really kicked in. They would sneak out for late-night walks by the sea, talk about baby names, and dream about their future together.

One evening, as they sat on the balcony of their apartment, Sid wrapped his arms around Shehnaaz from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder.

“I can’t believe how much our life is about to change,” Shehnaaz whispered, her voice filled with emotion. “Four kids, a wedding, everything.”

Sid kissed her cheek softly. “I wouldn’t want it any other way. You and our babies are my whole world now, Misti Doi. I can’t wait to start this new chapter with you.”

Shehnaaz turned to face him, tears brimming in her eyes. “I love you, Sid. More than anything.”

“I love you too, Misti Doi. And I promise I’ll be there every step of the way—for you and our little ones,” Sid said, kissing her forehead gently.

Meanwhile, Ansh and Ria, now college students, were always teasing Sid and Shehnaaz about becoming parents at such a young age. But beneath the jokes, they were genuinely excited.

One evening, Ansh, while helping with the wedding prep, said, “You two are going to make the coolest parents. Just make sure the babies play cricket, okay?”

Ria laughed. “Yeah, and maybe one of them will become a YouTuber like Mami.”

Sid rolled his eyes playfully. “Let’s see what they want to do. But knowing us, they’re going to be a handful.”

Little Anyra, on the other hand, was already practicing her big sister role. “I’ll read them bedtime stories and teach them how to draw,” she declared proudly, showing Sid and Shehnaaz her latest drawing of their soon-to-be family.

Sid smiled, lifting Anyra in his arms. “You’re going to be the best big sister ever, Anyra. They’re lucky to have you.”

As the days passed and the wedding drew closer, Sid and Shehnaaz felt an overwhelming sense of love and support from their family, friends, and even Sid’s teammates. The journey ahead was sure to be filled with challenges, but with each other by their side, they knew they could handle anything.

SidNaaz were ready to embrace their future—together.
