Chapter 59- Chill V-live

August 15th, 2018:

The busyness had only continued, and this leak of my contract troubles was doing nothing to relieve my stress about it. I had been adamant with Bang PD that I hadn't released anything. I wanted this to go smoothly and as quietly as possible. Since when was I the type to dramatize things out of control? Statistically, it was almost sure it was coming from someone at Big Hit. 

I was set to do a live today and I was a bit apprehensive about it with this sudden leak. Nevertheless, I turned the camera on a staff member had brought to me in my studio determined to make it seem like I was having a great time. I'd named the live Chat with Inigo's Mom because I couldn't think of anything cooler.

"Hello everyone," I smiled waving after waiting for a significant amount of people to show up, "do you guys like the title? I couldn't think of anything," I chuckle, "I hope everyone is doing well and healthy. I know school starts soon in North America, good luck to all the students!" I said putting up my arms in a "hwaiting" gesture, "it's been super hot here in Seoul, make sure to wear hats and sunscreen. And drink water, lots of water," I say pointing my finger accusatorily as if I knew they weren't drinking water, "dehydration really creeps up on you even if you think you're okay, so make sure to listen to your body".

I lean back in my chair smiling slightly as I watch comments fly by in a variety of languages.

"We came back from filming Bon Voyage a couple of weeks of ago," I state, leaning forward again, "it was really a lot of fun, the boys and I had a great time together. We cried, we laughed, we got annoyed, literally, everything happened. I hope ARMY like the show. I honestly thought Malta would be like a good escape from the Korean heat, but it was quite hot too. I was a bit surprised. I don't know, I thought since it was an island there would be more of a breeze cooling things down but the sun was really hot all the time. Hopefully, it doesn't show how sweaty I was," I laugh.

I pick up my phone and go to my camera roll to show the live a picture Jungkook had taken of me while on the yacht.

"A little spoiler," I grinned, showing them the picture of me posing at the front of the yacht nicely, "JK took the picture. He actually brought his camera, so he has a bunch of like actually good pictures. I should ask him to see them. Maybe he'll post a few when the show is out".

Silence falls a bit as I think of things to talk about.

"Oh! Did you guys see! We added the Montréal tour date!" I said clapping excitedly, "are you guys gonna go? Please go," I laugh embarrassed, "This was a bit of risk because we're not sure if the arena is a bit too big, but I really, really wanted to be able to perform in Montréal, get to go back home you know. This meant we got fewer rest days, but the boys want to go there too so everyone was onboard thankfully. So please buy the tickets ARMY, I trust you guys' Québec ARMY. And you know, if you're in the Atlantic provinces, it can be a fun road trip, right?"

"It's already sold out?" I said stunned reading a few comments telling me just that, "oh my god ARMY. You guys are crazy. Thank you," I bowed my head truly happy that I hadn't been wrong in telling Big Hit that it would sell out. I knew fans would come. "I'm so excited to perform at the Bell Center (Montréal arena). I went once for a concert and a hockey game when I was a kid. It's kind of crazy to think I'm going to be a performer there. My dad is super excited. He's been telling all his co-workers," I blush chuckling, "maybe if we have time, I can take the boys around the Old Port and Old Montréal. I can't show them where I grew up cuz that's not anywhere near downtown, but still, just being back in Québec, hearing the accent. I'm so excited," I beam, "AND Tintin is still holding on so hopefully I get to see him one last time. He's hella old now. My dad says he's basically blind and bumps into walls and furniture. I like to think he's holding on so I can squeeze him tightly one last time," I smiled warmly thinking of my childhood family cat, "Inigo is good too. He's gotten a little chonky so he's on a diet he's not happy about. I've been thinking of taking him on walks. I've ordered a leash and everything. I'm not sure how he's going to take it, he's a bit of a grouch about everything. Hopefully, he likes it or tolerates it at least. I'll post a video on Twitter for you guys".
