Now grown up, Y/N sat in the tranquil palace garden, the moonlight reflecting itself on her eyes, her thoughts swirling like the gentle breeze that rustled the tall trees. The weight of the recent events weighed heavily upon her delicate shoulders. The sudden reappearance of her eldest sister whom she never knew had sent waves of shock through the kingdom, the ever-looming conflict between Hela and their father, and Loki's ever-unruly behavior left her feeling overwhelmed. Her gaze met the ground, Her delicate fingers toyed with the smooth fabric of her exquisitely tailored gown.Frigga walks through the entrance to the garden, she spots you and smiles. Stepping softly over to you, she stops next to the bench and leans down to place a soft hand on your shoulder, gently kissing the top of your head "I have never heard your mind so busy before. You are restless dear. What worries you, child?"
Y/N looked up at her mother, "everything" she said softly, ".. it's too much Mother" Her eyes started to fill with tears.
Frigga's eyes softened as she saw the tears and sat beside her, putting her arms around her daughter, and pulling her close. She speaks gently to her as they sit, her hand strokes along Y/N's hair "Let it out, sweet one. There is much happening right now and I understand it is all very stressful for you."
Y/N's voice quivered with emotion as she whispered into Frigga's comforting embrace. "Mother, it's all too much," she murmured, her voice laced with a mixture of confusion and desperation. "I feel like it's suffocating me, I don't know what to do". Frigga just holds her little girl and hushes her gently "Shh, it is alright Flower. You are safe here with me."
"My little love, why don't we go for a walk? It may help to clear your head. Come, my sweet girl."She offers Y/N her hand and gets to her feet.
Taking her hand, they begin to walk along the stone path in the garden. The air is fresh and the sweet scent of the blossoms drifts in the air. They walk in silence for a while before Frigga finally decides to say something
"Look at this beautiful garden, dearest," Frigga said in a comforting tone. "It's a testament to the magic and beauty you possess. You have created a place of refuge, and the serenity of these gardens reflects the power within you to bring forth such enchantment." Y/N smiled at her mother's words.
Her hand squeezes Frigga's in gratitude. "I couldn't have done it without you, Mother," she said softly. "Your encouragement and support have been my guiding stars. It's through your unwavering faith in me that I've been able to create something as beautiful as this garden." She paused, a wistful look in her eyes. "Even when I doubted myself, your presence was the light that led me back to my path of creation." Frigga smiled, her eyes gleaming with pride as she listened to Y/N's words.
"You give me too much credit my flower. You are the artist here. I simply provided a little guidance and support." She holds Y/N's face between her hands, looking at her with love and pride "You are a bright shining light, my little bird. You bring love and beauty to the world without even trying. Trust yourself and know always that you are so much stronger than you realize." she then peppers Y/N's nose with kisses making the girl giggle "mother!" she protests softly.
After walking for a while they sit together and look out over the pond. As they continued their peaceful silence, the serenity of Asgard enveloped them like a warm embrace. The gentle night breeze carried the faint sounds of the city's tranquility, creating a soothing melody. Y/N faced her mother, her face contorted with emotions, her eyes locked on Frigga's patient gaze.
She opened her mouth, trying to form words that would express her mind but it filled with uncertainty, the words remained stuck in her throat. Confusion clouded her mind, causing her lips to quiver and her voice to falter before she could utter a single syllable, Frigga's eyes softened with compassion as she witnessed Y/N's internal struggle. She remained silent, offering a silent reassurance through her unwavering gaze that she was there to listen and understand when her daughter was ready to speak.
Y/N's voice wavered as she finally managed to utter two words, "Mother, I.." but before she could continue, Frigga gently caressed her cheek, cutting her off mid-thought. The older woman's eyes met Y/N's with a knowing look, silently nodding as if to say, "I know, sweet girl." In that moment, with a subtle gesture, she acknowledged Y/N's unspoken worries without the need for words.
Y/N's voice was tinged with a hint of sorrow as she spoke. "I... I can't stay, Mother," Frigga's eyes met her daughter's, brimming with understanding and support. She asked tenderly, "Where will you find refuge, my child?" Y/N looked down, her gaze clouded with uncertainty. "I don't know yet," she replied quietly, her voice quavering. Frigga, sensing her daughter's distress, responded reassuringly, "Well, wherever you venture, I shall continue to support you."
Y/N wrapped her arms around Frigga, her face buried in her mother's shoulder. Her voice quivered with a mix of gratitude and emotion as she whispered, "Thank you, Mother." Frigga's embrace tightened, her arms providing a comforting shelter. She leaned her cheek against Y/N's head, her voice filled with love and reassurance. "My my child," Frigga replied, her voice holding a motherly warmth. "You are always welcome."
