The Fellowship had finally returned to the peaceful haven of Rivendell, their journey coming to an end. Frodo, who had faced unimaginable challenges and battles, had woken up from his coma, marking a significant milestone in their quest. Days had passed since that moment and the Fellowship members were slowly recovering from the physical and emotional scars of their journey, enjoying the peace and tranquil atmosphere of Rivendell.

However, a sense of unease lingered in the air, an unspoken understanding that the world would never be the same again. Among the Fellowship, Legolas and Y/N's love continued to grow. Their time apart had only deepened their connection, and they cherished every moment they had together, even in the shadow of the unknown.

Legolas stirred from his slumber, his mind still fuzzy with sleep. As his senses came to life, he noticed the absence of presence beside him. He sat up and glanced around the room, his gaze falling on Y/N's figure. She was sitting near the balcony, nursing a cup of tea and immersed in a book. A smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he watched her, appreciating the serenity of the moment. With a gentle yawn, he rose from the bed, stretching his limbs as he made his way towards her.

Legolas padded quietly towards Y/N, his bare feet making barely a sound on the floor. As he reached her, he wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. "hiraeth nîn ( good morning ), meleth nîn," he murmured, his voice still laced with sleep.

"Did you sleep well?" He nuzzled his face against her neck.

Y/N hummed softly, her eyes remaining fixed on the book in front of her. "Eladan's been waiting for you," she mentioned casually, her tone laced with amusement.

"He's been asking me if you're awake every fifteen minutes for the past hour." A smirk tugged at the corners of her lips as she glanced up at him, her expression filled with affection and a hint of playful teasing.

"I suppose I should put him out of his misery then," he mused, his voice filled with warmth and a hint of mischief. "But I must confess, I'm quite comfortable here."

His eyes sparkled playfully as he reached for Y/N's book and set it down on the table. With a gentle tug, he pulled her out of her chair and into his arms, their bodies now close and intertwined.

"You are quite the distraction, my love," he murmured, his voice filled with affection. He nuzzled his face against her neck once more, his lips brushing against her skin in a tender kiss.

"How can I possibly leave this embrace when you're being so irresistible?" he whispered, his tone laced with playfulness and desire. "I fear I may be trapped in this room forever, hopelessly captivated by your charms."

Y/N chuckled softly, wrapping her arms around Legolas' neck as she tilted her head, granting him access to her exposed neck. "He'll be here any minute," she mused, a twinkle of mischief in her eyes.

"Then I suppose I must take advantage of every second," Legolas replied, his voice laced with a playful growl. He traced the contours of her neck with a trail of tender kisses, his lips lingering on her skin as if etching their shared moment into his memory.

As he continued his gentle assault, a soft knock on the door echoed through the room, followed by Eladan's voice calling out.

Eladan barged into the room, his face creased with a frown. "Naneth, is he awake yet?" His eyes darted towards Y/N and Legolas, discovering them in an intimate moment, with Legolas nuzzling Y/N's neck.

Y/N's amused expression met Eladan's frown, and a playful glint danced in her eyes. She replied teasingly, "Perhaps, but he seems quite preoccupied at the moment."
