A soft knock on the door announced the abrupt entry of Eladan, his voice carrying a mixture of excitement and impatience. "Naneth!" he exclaimed, bursting into the lady's chamber.
Iriel glanced up at Eladan, a slight smirk gracing her lips at his enthusiasm. "Eladan, you know better than to barge in without permission. Give her ladyship some peace," she chided gently.
The lady, accustomed to Eladan's antics, chuckled softly at his action. "It's alright, Iriel. What is it, Eladan?"
"Are you ready yet?" Eladan pressed, his voice brimming with excitement as he stepped further into the room. "The moon is already, it starting to rise, and the festival is about to begin! Come on!"
Iriel exchanged a knowing glance with the lady, both amused by Eladan's impatience. "He seems quite eager for the festival," Iriel commented with a smile.
The lady chuckled softly, exchanging an amused glance with Iriel, before turning back to face Eladan. "Patience, my dear Eladan," she replied, her voice gentle.
"Iriel is almost finished with my hair, and then we shall join the festivities. The moon will still be there when we arrive."
Eladan let out a soft huff, his excitement still brimming in his eyes. "But the fireflies are already lighting up the garden," he protested, gesturing towards the window where a soft glow could be seen beyond. "They're all waiting for you, Naneth!"
The lady's smile widened at Eladan's persistence. She knew his enthusiasm for the festivities was genuine, and she couldn't help but find his eagerness endearing."Very well," she conceded, a soft chuckle escaping her lips.
"Iriel, please finish quickly. I don't want to keep the fireflies and our guests waiting any longer."
Iriel nodded, her nimble fingers working swiftly to complete the lady's hair, while Eladan's anticipation continued to swell.
The moment Iriel finished, Eladan's impatience could no longer be contained. Without waiting for any further delay, he extended his arm to the lady, his voice filled with excitement. "Come, Naneth! Let us go and enjoy the moonlight festival!
The lady gracefully accepted Eladan's arm, grateful for his eagerness and the warmth of his presence. "Lead the way, my dear," she said, her eyes shining with excitement.
"come Iriel," she said softly, gesturing iriel to join them.
Eladan, brimming with joy, guided her towards the door, his enthusiasm infectious. Together, they stepped out into the night, the flickering glow of fireflies guiding their path toward the moonlight festival they had been eagerly awaiting.
The fellowship gathered at the town hall, their attire elegant and befitting the occasion. They mingled with the townsfolk, admiring the elaborate decorations and enjoying the aroma of delicious foods being prepared.
