After walking for an extended period, they finally reached the destination – Midgewater. The Fellowship stopped in their tracks, their faces filled with confusion as they looked at Y/N and Eladan.

Pippin, voiced their collective confusion by asking, "Are we stopping here?" They all glanced around, looked around at the muddy surroundings, and grimaced in distaste. Merry's eyes darted towards Eladan and Y/N, his expression bewildered as he took in their state. He exclaimed, "But you're clean! If you live here, how come your robes aren't even muddy?" his words making Boromir nudged him softly in the leg.

Eladan chuckled at Merry's observation. The hobbit had a point - they all were covered in mud and dirt from the journey, while he and the lady looked immaculate in their robes. "Ah, that's an easy question," Eladan replied, smiling. "We do not live here. This is just a resting point. Our actual home is nearby."

Boromir rubbed a hand over his weary face. "Thank Vallar," he muttered. "I was beginning to think we'd have to make camp in a puddle."

Gimli grumbled gruffly, "But we still have to pass through that mud, don't we?" The hobbits groaned, not looking forward to the prospect of trudging through the mire.

Eladan couldn't help but exchange an amused glance with the lady. "Yes!" the lady responded, her smile widened, making her almost look like she was excited.  Gimli grumbled again, clearly not amused, "Now why does she sound happy about that?"

"Because now you all get to meet Myrill," she said softly, Then the Fellowship watched in amazement as the lady stepped into the muddy ground, and instead of plunging ankle-deep, a thin layer of root formed under her foot, creating a firm foothold.

Eladan moved to join her, Myrill let out a root to support his figure "Myrill here is the one that makes sure our clothes do not get dirty as we pass the Midgewater" He explained.

"Incredible," Gandalf mumbled, stroking his beard. "I've heard of the mythical properties before, but never witnessed it in use like this." He finished. Aragorn's brows furrowed as he spoke, puzzlement evident in his voice. "We passed through this area before. But how could it never show itself?"

The lady smiled, her eyes meeting Aragorn's. "Myrill is a plant spirit, attuned to the land," she explained. "She reveals herself to those who respect the land and its inhabitants. Perhaps in the past, you didn't treat this place with the respect it deserved" she said playfully, earning a grumble from Myrill that sounded like a laugh, making her chuckle.

The Fellowship's expression turned slightly sheepish at the lady's explanation. Perhaps they had not treated the area with the care they should have. "Myrill only reveals itself to those who can control and commune with nature, much like our lady here," Gandalf added, gesturing to Y/N.

She then said "Come join us, Myrill has given you her permission," she said with a gesture to follow them onto myrill.

Legolas was the first to step upon Myrill, his movements quick and confident. Feeling the solidity of the plant spirit's root under his weight, he found a sturdy support. He then rotated his gaze towards the lady, his heart skipping a beat as their eyes locked. Her eyes gleamed with excitement as if she took delight in his act, and a warm feeling washed over him making him look down at his feet.

As the rest of the Fellowship cautiously followed Legolas's example, gingerly stepping onto the myrill, Aragorn and Gimli both shot him curious glances. They had seen his eagerness to step on myrill first, no doubt influenced by the presence of the lady.

As everyone was finally settled upon Myrill, the plant spirit began to move, carrying the group through the Midgewater. The ride was surprisingly smooth and swift, and the journey went by without a hitch.
