The final bell rings, signifying for the kids to clean up and head to their after-school activities, or back home. That's another culture shock to her - the fact that janitors don't exist in Japanese schools, and that it's expected of the students to clean. She thinks it probably gives a little bit of a motivation for the kids to not leave a bunch of crap laying around.

Once everything is pretty much spic and span, she walks over to the classroom cubby and plucks her bag out of it. The motion makes all the little keychains and such on it jingle a bit. Is it a little bit of overkill to have three keychains and four buttons on a single bag? Yeah, probably, but she doesn't plan on taking them off anytime soon.

"Ready?" Shigeo asks, his voice soft as he slings his bag over his shoulder. She glances up at him and nods with an excited little grin. The two of them walk out of the classroom and to the shoe lockers to get changed into their outdoor shoes before heading out. She wonders if it's uncommon for people to go straight home after school, since she doesn't see a lot of people walking alongside them at all.

Dimple floats around her and Megumi curiously, and she matches his movements by trailing them with her head. "How long have you been able to see and communicate with spirits like this one?" She asks, watching with an amused expression as Dimple gets a little too close to Megumi, causing her to swat at him like he's an annoying fly.

"As long as I can remember," he says. He, too, watches as the two spirits interact with one another. It seems like Dimple has taken a bit of a liking to annoying Megumi for some reason. Maybe it's because he doesn't get much of an opportunity to interact with other spirits? "My master has been helping me with controlling my powers for some years now."

"Really? That's amazing... Your master must be very powerful," she exclaims. She doesn't understand why Dimple snorts at that, but whatever. She rubs the back of her neck. "I didn't even realize I had something similar until recently... I found it by accident. But I have also found someone that's willing to help me, as well, so I'm pretty lucky."

"Maybe that's why I couldn't immediately feel something from you," he glances down, pressing his knuckle to his bottom lip. "But... now that I'm a bit closer to you..." He peeks at her. "You do have a bit of an aura to you. It's faint, but it's definitely there... If your master is anything like mine, then you'll be able to become stronger in no time."

"I sure hope so," she sighs wistfully. She didn't even know such a thing was possible, but if mediums exist, why can't a psychic? "Honestly, I don't know what I'll do with these powers anyway. It's not like I did much with my medium abilities before..."

"Hey, you could become God if you wanted," Dimple pipes up.

"Sounds like a lot of responsibility..."

"Damn, you two are basically the same," he grumbles, crossing his tiny little arms.

"My master and I help people in need. If there is an evil spirit that is terrorizing someone, we'll often go and exorcize it," Shigeo explains, fiddling with his hands. "I get experience this way, and I get a little bit of a pay in turn, as well."

"Oh? How much do you make, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Oh, um, around 200 or 300 yen."

She pauses, making a little bit of a face even though she's not really meaning to. 200 or 300 yen? That doesn't sound like much at all... Come to think of it, that onigiri she got from 7/11 the other day was only 112 yen, and that was pretty much equivalent to a dollar... That means this guy is only giving him around two or three dollars for his job!
