"I don't think this is what Hatori-san meant when he said he was willing to help us from now on."
Ari looks up from her personal laptop with a little bit of a pout. "Well, it's the least he can do since he's sort of at our mercy after that whole thing with Claw! Besides, what's the harm in giving us access to a beloved game such as Club Penguin?"
Shigeo looks down at the screen of Ms. Anaya's laptop as well. "I guess using his technokinesis for things like this is a lot better than what he was using them for before..." He acknowledges. "And it was nice of him to somehow get us memberships for an entire year."
"Yeah, I think he hacked into the system, but I'm not too worried about it. What are you going to name your Puffle?"
"I think I'll name him Dimple because he's green."
"That thing looks nothing like me!" Dimple exclaims, almost offended at being compared to the fictional pet. "And I am not your pet! I would never set foot outside with a leash around my neck!"
"And here I thought you were just a glorified dog," Megumi comments, watching over Ari's shoulder as she pelts some random kid with snowballs in the game.
"Speak for yourself!" He scoffs. "Oi, Shigeo! I just said I'm not a pet! Change that thing's name now!"
"I already put his name in, so I can't change it," he says without even looking up from the screen. "Ari, I'll be in the dojo if you want to play card jitsu with me."
"Roger that!"
"Don't ignore me, you little shits!"
The doorbell rings, and she lets out a heavy sigh. Who in the hell could that be? Another reporter wanting to get an interview with her or her mother? Well, tough titties, 'cause her mom and Ritsu are out at the grocery store and she's tired of talking to them too!
She scoots her chair out and walks to the door. When she opens it, an ornate bouquet of flowers is promptly shoved into her face.
"Huh?" She stammers, gently taking the vase with a perplexed look on her face. It's only then that she glances upward, finding the person who has so graciously given her the flowers. She scrunches her nose. "Ugh."
Naka stands there, looking rather posh in his turtleneck and jacket combination. "It's rude to scoff when you receive a gift," he states, pushing his glasses up with two fingers.
"How in the hell did you find my address?" She deadpans.
"I have my ways. Now, must I beg or will you invite me inside?"
"You're just as delusional as you were back then, you asshole."
Shigeo watches the interaction with wide eyes, his hands trembling over the keyboard of Ms. Anaya's laptop. "T-That... That's the guy that tried to ask Ari out after she saved him from the evil spirit!" He whispers in a shaky voice. "What is he doing here?"
Naka walks into the home without being invited, taking his shoes off at the genkan and setting them aside. With one hand on his hip, he looks around the premises, almost purposefully ignoring Shigeo. "Your home is quite... quaint."
"Yeah, that's the life of the working class, you sack of shit."
"I don't think you have anything to worry about, Shigeo," Dimple consoles him. "She clearly hates his guts."
"I can vouch for that," Megumi adds.
"Why are you even here, Shitty Glasses?" Ari asks, squinting at him. She doesn't trust him. He hasn't ever given her a reason to, and it's obvious that he still holds his haughty attitude.
