Ari looks around in wonder as she and Micah walk through an affluent neighborhood towards their client's home. It's not as if she's poor (anymore), but she could never dream of living in a place like this... not with her mom's English professor salary, anyway. They live comfortably, but not lavishly like this place. "Talk about disposable income," she whistles, glancing at a beautifully crafted water fountain.

"Makes you green with envy, huh?" Micah chuckles, his hands shoved casually in his pockets. "I don't think I would know what to do with myself if I had this much money... I guess Kinjou-san's husband has a good job. Why else would they be so loaded?"

She hums. Perhaps he's in the computer science or the IT field. "It seems like you're green for a reason other than envy, by the way."

"Ugh." He makes a face, his nose wrinkling and his eyes squinting. "Just the thought of having to work with that guy makes me sick to my stomach. I swear, the moment I see him, I'm gonna hurl all over him and that stupid suit of his," he huffs, clearly displeased.

"You can puke on command?"

"I wish I could just for this situation alone."

"You know, for someone that claims to hate him so much, you really go out of your way to mess with him," she remarks, giving him a little bit of a look. After all, if she disliked somebody, she would just try to avoid them... but him? It's the opposite.  "Like, was it really necessary to fax him a paper that had the kanji for 'fraud' over and over again?"

"Absolutely."

She huffs and looks away. This is just like Perfect Blue all over again, but instead of having some obsessed stalker, Reigen has a guy that absolutely hates his guts and is just trying to make his life a little harder. She thought that she was supposed to be the kid in this duo!

"Don't be like that. He does stuff like that too," Micah pouts, crossing his arms over his chest.

"So you're just doing it right back to him? It'll be an endless cycle. What happened to everyone saying that you should be the bigger person or something like that?" Though, to be honest, she knows that such a method doesn't always work... God knows it didn't help her when she was back home and those kids - nope. She's not going there.

"He's almost 30! He should be the bigger person!" He protests. It's obvious to her that he isn't going to budge on the subject. Though, the fact that he can rattle that off the top of his head is sort of surprising.

"Hey, how do you know his age? Are you stalking him or something?" She squints.

"I-I do my research, alright?!"

"Yo-ho! Over here, over here!" A familiar voice calls out to them, causing them to look over their shoulders. Dimple floats over to them. In his little arms is a teeny tiny bowl. "I've been looking forward to this since the day I found out that you guys would be working together! How are you feeling, huh? You gonna sock Reigen in the face this time?"

"I will if he can't keep his freakin' mouth shut," he grumbles.

Curiously, she reaches out and points at the little bowl that Dimple's carrying. "What's in that bowl, Dimple?" She asks, tilting her head ever so slightly. "It's so small I doubt you could carry that much in it."

Dimple doesn't say anything for a moment, simply reaching into it and pulling out a single piece of popcorn. "Popcorn. What's some entertainment without a snack?"
