"An assignment at Soryo Private Academy?" Shigeo asks her, his voice having a lilt of concern in it. "That's an only boys high school... Are you sure you're going to be okay?"

Ari sits on her bed cross-legged, her phone perched upon her knee as she braids her hair for bedtime. "I'm a big girl, Shigeo," she's quick to reassure him. "Some stupid high school boys aren't going to scare me."

"I know you are... but being the only girl in an entire school of boys. That doesn't freak you out at all?" It almost sounds like he's speaking from experience or something. She'll have to ask about that later. But he does have a point - those boys would probably go rabid if they knew a girl was in their sausage party of a school.

"Sure, it would if I wasn't going to disguise myself," she says, looping her hair at the end before going to the other side. "Micah-san and I devised a plan so I can go to the school and do what I need to do without having to worry about being hounded just for being a girl. He got me a uniform and everything."

"The uniform's one thing, but there is no way those boys aren't gonna notice that rack of hers," she can hear Dimple say in the background. The remark makes her face feel hot.

"D-Dimple," Shigeo protests.

"Put me on speaker, please," she requests, her eyebrow twitching.

"Oh, o-okay..." There's a faint rustle before he speaks once more. "You're on speaker now."

"Stop eavesdropping on our conversation, and don't make comments like that, you nasty little man!" She snaps at Dimple, her nose scrunched in both embarrassment and annoyance.

"Hey, you can call me whatever you want, but you and I both know that I'm right," Dimple snarks right back at her. "You're probably the least flat girl I've ever seen. American girls are out of this world."

"Shigeo, please exorcize him."

"Don't joke around like that! He needs me!"

"Says who?!"

There's a little bit of a knock on her door, and she immediately snaps her mouth shut. "Babe, go to bed. You're gonna be tired in the morning if you don't," her mom's voice carries through the door. "You can talk to your little boyfriend tomorrow."

Turning beet red, she covers the receiver so no one on the other line can hear what she says. "I told you that he's not my boyfriend, mom!" She whines, though her mother only snickers and walks away, her footsteps echoing through the house. She huffs and removes her hand. "I gotta go to bed. I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay. Sleep well, Ari."

"You too, Shigeo," she smiles softly. "Dimple, you can go kick rocks."

"Hey! I could beat your ass, you little - "

She hangs up. She finishes her other braid and plugs her phone in before snuggling into her bed, her eyes fluttering shut. "Good night, Megumi," she murmurs.

"Night night," Megumi says back, already in her designated spot for her manga reading.

In almost no time at all, she's lulled into a deep sleep into dreamland.

"Alright, so this is your disguise," Micah says, holding out a folded uniform. She takes it and looks at the contents. There's a white button-up shirt, a blue blazer with gold buttons, a gray-blue tie, a light blue vest, a pair of gray pants, and some brown dress shoes that she'll have to change out of before she walks into the school. She's got to admit, it's a pretty solid uniform.

"And, don't forget these..." He places a short brown wig on top of the uniform, as well as a wig cap. Then, he puts a pair of something that looks like they'll go inside her shoes on top as well. When she gives him a quizzical look, he continues. "They're going to make you look taller. There's no way you could pass for a high school boy when you're only, like... what? 4'10?"
