"I feel like I shouldn't be here... not at a hoity toity place like this," Ari whispers, hiding behind Micah's back as she looks around the giant mansion. It's filled to the brim with other psychics - or people that claim to be psychics, at the very least. She can tell that some of them are the real deal, but others aren't.

"Nonsense. You're my disciple, so of course I'm bringing you along," Micah reaches behind him and pats her head in an attempt to calm her down. "Looks like this is going to be a pretty big deal. Though, to be honest, I don't know what we're looking at here. The invitation I received said nothing. I'm assuming that it's going to be some sort of exorcism."

She hums in turn, glancing over when she sees the ginormous front doors opening, revealing two familiar faces. Brightening, she immediately rushes to greet them. "Shigeo! Reigen-san! You're here too!" She exclaims. Micah follows not too far behind, his hands shoved in his pockets nonchalantly.

"Arataka," he says simply, giving a slight nod.

"Micah," he says back, although it sounds stiff.

"Whoa, first name basis. D'ya think something happened?" Dimple grins, elbowing Megumi.

"Ew," Megumi scrunches her nose.

"Do you know what's going on?" Shigeo asks, looking at Ari with a little bit of a tilt of his head. "Master said that despite receiving an invitation, there were no details about the job we're supposed to be conducting..."

She shakes her head, pouting a little. "I can't say I know anything, either. Micah-san is just as much in the dark as I am."

"I see..."

"Hey, you two!" A voice interrupts them. She looks over and finds a man that she doesn't quite recognize - a rotund man with a big necklace. From the feeling she gets from him, he's a real deal psychic. He approaches Reigen in particular. "So what are you doing here, huh?"

"Heh! I'll have you know that I'm getting a bit more work since we last met," Reigen states proudly.

"Shinra, who is this man?"

Wah, that old man is totally creepy! She internally cries. Subtly, she takes a step back and hides behind Micah once more, even as he's chatting with Reigen and not even giving them a passing glance.

"I thought you liked old people," Megumi states. "You say they're cute."

"They usually are cute, but this one looks like he could kill me with a single look!" She whispers back.

All of the chatter stops immediately as the client in question, Asagiri Masashi, comes out and stands before them. He is rather professional as he speaks to the crowd. "Thank you all for coming here today. I checked out all of your careers, and I have decided to place my hopes in you based on your reputations," he explains. "However, I do not know for certain if there is one of you that can save my daughter."

Using a remote, he is able to turn on an overhead projector, which shows the face of a girl around Ari and Shigeo's age. She looks happy, if the picture has any weight to it. "This is my daughter. Her name is Asagiri Minori, and she is 14 years-old. This video is from her birthday, about half a year ago."

"I wanted a cheesecake."

"I don't need presents like these."

"Hey, do something funny."

"Haha, you're so boring!"

"At this point, there was nothing wrong with her yet," Mr. Asagiri continues.

Ari makes a face like she's taken a hefty bite out of a lemon. Is he sure when he says there was nothing wrong with her? It seems like she was a spoiled brat, not unlike Shitty Glasses from Soryo.
