Ruhi joined her friends, Rhea and Tanya, in the college cafeteria. Rhea thakur , Pradyuman Thakur's sister, chatted enthusiastically.
"Guess what? Pradyuman Bhaiya's back in town!"
He just got transferred here
Ruhi's heart skipped a beat. Pradyuman? The same ACP who had taught her a lesson? She hadn't known he was Rhea's brother.
Ruhi forced a smile, hiding her unease. She hadn't told anyone about her previous encounter with Pradyuman.
Rhea continued, oblivious to Ruhi's discomfort. "Bhaiya's been busy with work. I'm sure he'd love to catch up with you guys."
Ruhi's phone buzzed, saving her from responding. She glanced at the screen to find a message from Viren:
"Hey, Ruhi. Driver's on leave. I'm at the college door to pick you up."
Ruhi's stomach twisted into knots. She hadn't expected Viren to show up again so soon.
As she walked out with her friends, Ruhi spotted Viren leaning against his car, looking imposing.
"Hey," he said, opening the door for her.
Ruhi slid in, feeling trapped.
Viren's voice was firm as he drove. "Ruhi, I need to see you after you freshen up. Come to my office room at 6 pm sharp."
Ruhi's heart sank. What did Viren want now?
"Okay," she muttered, trying to hide her apprehension.
Viren's eyes flicked to the rearview mirror, his gaze piercing. "Don't be late."
Ruhi felt a shiver run down her spine. What had she gotten herself into?
As they reached home, Ruhi hastily grabbed her bag. "Thanks, VIREN . I'll see you later." ( Intentionally taking his name )
Viren's expression remained stern. "6 pm, Ruhi. Don't forget."
Ruhi nodded, already feeling anxious.
As she entered her room, Ruhi collapsed onto her bed, her mind racing. What did Viren want to discuss ?
She glanced at her phone, Pradyuman's name still lingering in her mind. Little did she know that Pradyuman and Viren were close friends, and her life was about to become even more complicated.
With a sigh, Ruhi got up to freshen up, wondering what the evening had in store for her.
As she began to change, Ruhi's thoughts drifted back to Pradyuman and the unknown consequences of her brother's return.
The clock ticked closer to 6 pm, and Ruhi's anxiety grew. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for the unknown.
