Viren's care and attention surrounded Ruhi, nurturing her recovery.
He prepared her favorite meals, helped with physical therapy, and monitored her progress.
At dinner, Ruhi turned up her nose at the vegetables and milk.
"Bhaiya, I don't want these," Ruhi said, pushing the plate away.
Viren's expression turned stern.
"Ruhi, you need nutrients for recovery. Eat."
Ruhi crossed her arms.
"I hate veggies!"
Viren's scolding turned into a gentle rebuke.
"Ruhi, listen. You've come far. Don't slack now."
Ruhi pouted.
Viren's expression softened.
"Fine, no veggies tonight. But promise me you'll try tomorrow."
Ruhi nodded.
Viren pulled her into a warm hug.
"I'm proud of you, Ruhi. You're getting stronger every day."
Two months passed, Ruhi's recovery remarkable.
Over breakfast, Ruhi's eyes sparkled.
"Bhaiya, can we go on a one-day trip? Please?"
Viren hesitated.
"I don't know, Ruhi. You're still recovering."
Ruhi persisted.
"Please, Bhaiya! I promise I'll be fine."
Viren relented.
"Okay, but we'll take it easy."
They headed to the mall, buying gifts for Ruhi.
Next, they visited her favorite restaurant, indulging in delicious food.
The beach beckoned, Ruhi laughing as Viren built sandcastles.
As the sun dipped, they returned home.
Abhimanyu arrived, examining Ruhi's leg.
"You're clear to join college now, Ruhi. You're fit," Abhimanyu declared.
Ruhi beamed.
Abhimanyu smiled.
"You and Akshara are invited to Sunday's dinner ,Says Nalini"
Abhimanyu nodded ,saying "ji maa"
As Abhimanyu left, Viren's expression turned thoughtful.
"Ruhi, tomorrow's a big day."
Ruhi's curiosity piqued.
"Why, Bhaiya?"
Viren's eyes softened.
"Papa's returning from America tomorrow."
Ruhi's heart skipped a beat.
"Papa's coming home?"
Viren smiled.
"Yes, Ruhi. Get ready for a warm welcome."
Ruhi's excitement bubbled over.
