Days passed, Yashraj's overindulgence gradually fading as Viren's guidance took center stage. Ruhi noticed the change, her pouts and tantrums met with gentle but firm resistance.

"Bhaiya, why can't I go out with friends?" Ruhi asked, her voice laced with frustration, as she sat in the living room, flipping through TV channels.

Viren's expression remained calm, his eyes focused on the book he was reading.

"Because, Ruhi, you need to focus on your studies and recovery. No distractions," Viren replied, his tone firm but gentle.

Ruhi huffed, crossing her arms, but Viren's resolve didn't waver.

"But Bhaiya, all my friends are going! It's not fair," Ruhi pleaded.

Viren set his book aside, his eyes locking onto Ruhi's.

"Life's not about fairness, Ruhi. It's about responsibility. You need to prioritize your well-being," Viren explained.

Ruhi's face scrunched, but she knew Viren wouldn't budge.

Yashraj watched from the sidelines, proud of Viren's handling.

"Viren's doing a great job, Nalini. Ruhi's learning discipline," Yashraj said, as he and Nalini prepared dinner.

Nalini nodded, a warm smile on her face.

"Yes, Yashraj. Viren's guidance is exactly what Ruhi needs. She's growing up," Nalini replied.

As Ruhi adjusted to her new routine, she began to appreciate Viren's efforts.

"Bhaiya, thanks for helping me," Ruhi said, her voice sincere, as Viren helped her with her homework.

Viren smiled, his eyes crinkling.

"Anytime, Ruhi. I want you to succeed," Viren replied.

Sunday dinner at Akshara's approached, the family eager to reunite.

As they gathered around the table, laughter and stories filled the air.

Ruhi's eyes sparkled, her smile genuine.

"Papa, I'm glad you're home," Ruhi said, snuggling close to Yashraj.

Yashraj hugged Ruhi tightly.

"Me too, beta. Me too," Yashraj replied.

Akshara smiled, passing around the dishes.

"Manyu jiju made your favorite dish, Ruhi," Akshara said.

Ruhi's face lit up.

"Thanks, Manyu jiju!" Ruhi exclaimed.

The evening wore on, filled with warmth and love.

But amidst the warmth, a shadow loomed.

Aditya's release from jail was imminent, his malice still a threat.

Viren's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with strategies to protect Ruhi.

Would Aditya's return disrupt their newfound peace?

Or would Viren's guardianship keep Ruhi safe?

As they finished dinner and prepared to leave, Yashraj's expression turned serious.

"Viren, keep a close eye on Ruhi. Aditya's release is near," Yashraj warned.

Viren nodded, his jaw set.

"Don't worry, Papa. I'll protect Ruhi," Viren promised.

The drive home was quiet, Ruhi lost in thought.

"Bhaiya, what's wrong?" Ruhi asked, noticing Viren's tense expression.

Viren forced a smile.

"Nothing, Ruhi. Just thinking," Viren replied.

Ruhi's eyes narrowed.

"Bhaiya, you're worried about Aditya, aren't you?" Ruhi asked.

Viren's gaze met Ruhi's.

"Yes, Ruhi. But don't worry. I'll keep you safe," Viren reassured.

Ruhi's face softened.

"Thanks, Bhaiya. I trust you," Ruhi said.

Viren's heart swelled.
