Days passed, and Ruhi's relationship with Viren improved. She began to appreciate his guidance, and their interactions became more harmonious.
One evening, as Ruhi studied in her room, her phone buzzed. An unknown number flashed on the screen.
"Hello?" Ruhi answered cautiously.
"Ruhi, it's Aditya. You don't remember me?" the voice on the other end said.
Ruhi's mind raced. The name sounded familiar, but...
And then it clicked.
The junior officer she had tried to bribe after being caught speeding.
"Aditya?" Ruhi's voice trembled.
"I've been thinking about our last encounter," Aditya said, his tone ominous. "You were quite reckless that day."
Ruhi's anxiety spiked.
"What do you want, Aditya?" Ruhi asked firmly.
"I want to meet you. We need to discuss something," Aditya replied.
Ruhi hesitated before agreeing to meet.
The next day, Ruhi arrived at the designated spot, her nerves on edge.
Aditya stood leaning against his car, his eyes fixed on her.
"Ruhi, I know about your encounter with Pradyuman Sir," Aditya said, his voice dripping with malice. "You think you're above the law?"
Ruhi's heart sank. Her secret was out.
"What do you want, Aditya?" Ruhi asked, desperation creeping in.
Aditya sneered. "I want you to influence Pradyuman Sir to grant me a favor."
Ruhi's eyes widened. "What favor?"
"A transfer to the city police department," Aditya replied.
Ruhi's mind reeled. She couldn't involve Pradyuman in this.
"I'll think about it," Ruhi said, stalling.

Aditya's expression turned menacing. "You have two days, Ruhi. After that, I'll reveal everything to Viren."
Ruhi's world began to crumble.
As she fled the scene, she knew she had to confide in someone.
But who?
Pradyuman? Viren?
