Viren's anger simmered, his mind racing with thoughts of Aditya's blackmail. He couldn't believe Ruhi had met him alone, putting herself in harm's way.
He dialed Pradyuman's number, his voice firm.
"Pradyuman, it's Viren. Aditya blackmailed Ruhi. I need your help"
and he told everything to Pradyuman in one go.
Pradyuman's reassuring words calmed Viren's nerves.
"Don't worry, Viren. I'll handle Aditya. But take care of Ruhi. She's fragile right now."
Viren's expression hardened. Fragile? Ruhi's recklessness had put her in danger.
For days, Viren ignored Ruhi, his silence a palpable rebuke.
Desperate for attention, Ruhi resorted to drastic measures.
One day, while descending the stairs, Ruhi fell, her leg twisting at an awkward angle.
Viren rushed to her side, his face pale.
"Ruhi! Oh God, be careful!"
Initially, Viren thought it was an accident. But as he helped Ruhi up, he noticed oil splatters on the stairs.
His heart sank. He realise Ruhi had done this intentionally.
Viren's anger reignited, fiercer than before.

Without a word, he scooped Ruhi up, careful of her injured leg, and carried her outside.
"Bhaiya, listen... I'm sorry!" Ruhi pleaded.
But Viren didn't respond. He gently placed her in the car, his expression stern.
As he drove, Ruhi's tears fell, her words tumbling out.
"Bhaiya, please forgive me! I was desperate!"
Viren's jaw clenched, his eyes fixed on the road.
The silence between them was deafening.
Ruhi's cries filled the car, but Viren's anger wouldn't subside.
Where was he taking her?
Would Ruhi's desperate act push Viren further away?
To be continued...
