Viren drove in silence, his anger simmering like a pot about to boil over. Ruhi's tears continued to fall, her pleas for forgiveness ignored.
They arrived at Birla Hospital, a renowned institution in the city, its gleaming facade a testament to Abhimanyu's family's legacy.
Viren carried Ruhi into the emergency room, his expression stern, his eyes flashing with a mix of anger and worry.
A familiar face emerged from the crowd - Dr. Abhimanyu Birla, Akshara's husband, and a trusted family friend.
"Viren, what happened?" Abhimanyu asked, concern etched on his face, his eyes scanning Ruhi's frail form.
"Ruhi fell down the stairs," Viren replied, his tone clipped, his jaw clenched.
Abhimanyu's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "Fell? Or was it something else?"
Viren's glance at Ruhi and she conveyed the truth, and Abhimanyu's expression darkened.
"Ruhi, beta, what have you done?" Abhimanyu's voice thundered, his words laced with disappointment.
The X-ray results confirmed a fractured leg, and Abhimanyu's anger grew.
"Ruhi, you intentionally hurt yourself to get Viren's attention?" Abhimanyu's voice boomed, his words echoing off the hospital walls.
Ruhi's tears flowed anew, her body shaking with sobs.
"Bhaiya was ignoring me... I felt so alone... I didn't know what to do..." Ruhi stammered, her words barely audible.

Abhimanyu's scolding continued, his words firm but laced with love."Alone? You think harming yourself will solve anything? You're lucky Viren brought you here. If anything worse happened... Think about your family, Ruhi. We love you, but we can't keep enabling your reckless behavior."
Viren's anger still simmered, but Abhimanyu's words struck a chord.
Just then, Akshara rushed in, her face etched with worry.
"Ruhi, beta! What happened?" Akshara asked, rushing to Ruhi's side.
"Manyu jiju took care of me, Didi,i am fine for now " Ruhi replied, tears streaming down her face.
Akshara's gaze shifted to Abhimanyu.
"Manyu, how is she?" Akshara asked, her voice soft.
Abhimanyu's expression softened, his eyes filled with compassion.
"She'll be fine, Akshara. But she needs to learn from her mistakes. We can't keep rescuing her from herself."
Viren nodded, his expression resolute.
"Ruhi, you need to understand. Your safety, your well-being... that's all that matters," Viren said, his voice softer, but firm.
Abhimanyu nodded.
"Viren's right, Ruhi. You're not a child anymore. You need to grow up, take responsibility for your actions."
Ruhi's shame deepened, her heart heavy with regret.
Would she learn from her mistakes?
Or would her desperation continue to harm her relationships?
As Abhimanyu continued to treat Ruhi's fractured leg, Viren's thoughts turned to Aditya.
It was time to put an end to the blackmail.
But how?
