Once the two teens were at the fair, Yeah-yeah wasn't sure what ride to go on so he let Lillian drag him around till she found a ride suitable for her needs. Zero Gravity. Yeah-yeah was fine with her choice, him and the sandlot boys been on the ride more times then the years he was alive. It didn't scare him anymore.

As they finally made it to the front of the line Lillian was super excited. Once she found two open lanes to stand in her excitement turned in to curiosity. The seatbelt's that were suppose to keep them save, held no protection at all. She turned to her date but he wasn't phased at all.

A employee came on the ride and made sure everybody had their seatbelt's on.
What's the point of that? They're not tight at all, its not saving me if I just happen to slip out the ride while it goes round and round in the sky. Lillian wanted to say that so badly but she decided she better not.

Yeah-yeah intertwined their hands to assure her nothing was happen while he was around. She gave him a thankful smile before the ride started.
When the hunk of metal was all the way in the air Lillian tried to lift her body up off the walls of the ride but couldn't, which is probably why it's called zero gravity. The sight of all the beautiful carnival lights, the wind blowing in her hair and people below, her made smile and let out a few squeals, taking it all in. Everything seemed so amazing to her.

Yeah-yeah forget there were other people on the ride with them. The only person he paid attention to was the girl of his dreams which just happened to be his date that night. The way her eyes twinkled made him smile. The way her little laughs filled the summer night was a melodic sound to his ears. He couldn't help but stare in aw.

When the ride was over Yeah-yeah intertwined their hands again, it was slowly becoming a force of habit for him.
"Did you like?" He asked
"I loved it!" Lillian squealed.

After that, they went on a few other rides and decided to take break to get a corn dog or two. Yeah-yeah really wanted to win Lilly a stuffed bear out of the Claw-machine and after a lot of tries, he eventually did.
It was now getting late and their date was slowly coming to an end but not before Yeah-yeahs plan fully went into action.
"Wanna go on the Ferris-Wheel" he asked eagerly. Lillian wasn't afraid of heights or anything so she obliged.

When they reached the top Lilly looked down at the sight below her and everything looked so pretty. All the people looked so small and she felt so big. Like she was supreme. That feeling wasn't common for Lilly, she usually stood in the back of the crowd and shied away but at that moment she felt like someone.

"Can I ask you something?" Yeah-yeahs voice said, breaking her out of another other daze.
"I don't know how to say this" he started. He grabbed her hands and it gave him a burst of confidence. He just hopped she couldn't fell the sweat coming from the pores of his hands.

"I really like you"
She gave him a soft smile "I really like you too"

"Since the first time we started hanging out till now. I've grown to like you more and more which scared me. I've never been this crazy about anyone. All I thought about was baseball but now you've also become important in my life and I can't see myself without you. Lillian would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

Lillian sat their shocked. It all felt like a movie scene to her.
She thought things like this were just wishful thinking, but it just so happens that her cliche love moment was happening . Luckily for her there were no cameras or directors ready to yell cut if needed.

Lillian's heart started to beat faster. Everything around her got quite and felt still. " Listen to your heart" The voice in her head sang.

"Yes" she said, rapidly shaking her head.
Yeah-yeah couldn't help but smile. The girl of his dreams was officially his. Nothing could break his happy mood.
He pulled Lillian in for a long passionate kiss. When he pulled away the ride reached the bottom and they were finally back on the ground.

"Did you have fun?" Yeah-yeah asked, he was hoping she'd say yes. He wanted their date to be perfect.

"Of course I did" Lillian replied by giving him a small peck on the cheek.
