It was now the next day and when all the boys came to the sandlot and saw Yeah-yeahs appearance they were ready to start a war. Even though he loved the idea of it, Julian was still Lillian's brother. Yeah-yeah assisted that, that wouldn't necessary. After minutes of convincing the boys finally gave in.

Even in pain Yeah-yeah still played baseball. He wouldn't dare let his injuries stop him.

As soon as Lillian woke up, she got in the shower wanting to leave the house early.
She didn't wanna face her brother at least not today. But that wasn't what the universe had planned. She walked to the kitchen to grab an apple and Julian just happened to be walking out the kitchen. He made sure to bump her shoulder real hard before leaving. Lilly wasn't sure what his problem was, in her point of view he had no right to be mad. She should be the one mad.

Lillian decided to go to the sandlot and watch the boys play, like usual. When she finally reached the warn out hangout she stood in the far back and watched the 9 boys play their game. When Yeah-yeah spotted her he sent a wink in her direction before giving his full attention back to the game. Lilly couldn't help but get butterflies in the pit of her stomach. That boy had some kinda of magical effect on her and she loved it.

Once the boys took a break she walked up to greet them.
"Look it's tiger Lilly" Timmy said causing all the boys to look in her direction. They all decided her new nickname would be tiger Lilly. They thought Lilly was just to cliche, but she didn't complain she actually liked it.

From the time they spent together Lilly was out of her nutshell and comfortable with the guys which was rare for her because Lilly was naturally shy. Even after a long period of time but ever since she started to hanging out with Yeah-Yeah McClennan she was slowly starting to get use to talking to people and engaging in conversations.

"Hey Losers" she said giving each of them a small hug before wrapping her small frame in Yeah-yeahs for a longer time then the rest of the sandlot boys were comfortable with.

"What time are you coming tomorrow?" Lilly said, she was referring to the date she was asked on a few days prior to today.
"Mhmm. Eight" Yeah-yeah said smiling at Lillian.

"Hey now don't do anything I wouldn't do" Benny said, causing everyone to laugh.
"So you just want us to sit around and play baseball all day" Lilly retorted back, earning a laugh from yeah-yeah. He slung his arm around her shoulder and nudged her head into his chest.

Benny just sent her a playful glare before asking Kenny to throw him a few pitches.

Yeah-yeah could tell there was something a bit off about Lilly so he intertwined theirs hands and they walked away from the group so they could talk in private

"How is everything with your brother" Yeah-yeah asked when they were out of ear shot of everyone else.
Lillian shrugged not really sure how to answer his question "He won't talk to me, he hates me." She didn't think much of it yesterday but now the thought of her brother the boy she told everything to being mad at her made her heartache.

"Hey it's okay, you guys are gonna be fine" Yeah-yeah cooed "You just gotta try and talk to him.. I don't wanna be the reason you guys hate each other" He wrapped his arms around her neck and leaned in so he could leave a kiss on her forehead.
Lilly wrapped her arms around his waist and looked up at his slightly taller figure. "You're somehow always the one who's there when I'm at my worst"

When she was upset Yeah-yeah was always the one to comfort her and she couldn't understand why. It's not that she wasn't thankful though. Before he got the chance to tell her how he'll always be there for her she shooed him away.

"Okay now, go play baseball" she said pulling away from their position and pushing him back towards the sandlot.
"I'll see you tomorrow" she added before walking back home and locking herself in her room for the rest of the day.

Yeah-yeah couldn't help but feel guilty if it wasn't for him Lillian and her brother would still be close like how they were before. But soon Julian wouldn't have to worry about yeah-yeah coming between their sibling bond..
