After Lillian's first time visiting Alan , she went three more times and everytime she went he just became more and more distant. His letters stopped coming in every 3 weeks to almost never and his phone calls weren't as frequent. They were slowly falling apart so when Alan's mother came to ask Lillian if she would be accompanying the family on their drive to go visit Alan, she kindly declined Lillian decided not to tell anybody else about her relationship problems because it don't feel right. Whatever happens between her and Alan should just stay between then. The sandlot boys would occasionally asked Lillian questioned like How YeahYeah was doing or if he ever mentions them and she would play along and tell them exactly what they wanted to hear. She didn't have the guts to explain that she hasn't held a decent conversation that lasted longer then 10 minutes with Alan in what felt like a century.
The only person that could see Lillian's happy self slowly fading away was Julian. He felt bad for his little sister. They use to be so close and me he felt as if he couldn't even talk to her the same anymore. It was his job as her big brother to protect from harm and help her get through tough situations. So after Dinner that Friday night Julian found himself knocking on his sister bedroom door, waiting for his invitation inside.
"Come in" Lilian sang. Once Julian entered he found his sister staring longingly out the window. Their were big grey cloud filling the sky which made this day feel extra gloomy.
"Looks like it's gonna rain soon" Julian examined, taking a seat on the edge of Lillian's bed.
"Yeah.. looks like it" Lillian sighed.
Cutting straight to the chase, Julian leaned forward so he had a better view of his sisters face. "What's wrong Lilly.. I know something's wrong. What's the matter with you?
"What makes you think something's wrong? I'm fine" Lillian forced a smile. She decided not to meet her brothers eyes because if she did she knew the tears behind her eyelids would pour out.
"Lilly.." When she didn't answer Julian tried again. "Lillian look at me please.
When their eyes met her were already filled to the brim with tears. She couldn't hold in her emotions anymore. She couldn't pretend to be strong. The sight of his little sister slowly breaking was heartbreaking to him.
Many people would call Julian a jerk but when it came to Lillian he was just a conceded brother. He opened his arms widely so Lillian could fit inside. When their bodies collided Lillian buried her head and inside her brothers shoulder. He didn't he mind that she was soaking his new shirt with tears.
"What's wrong?" He asked one more time.
"..Julian. I- I'm not very happy anymore."

Fanfiction"You need to allow me to help you" It's not that Lillian hated the sandlot boys, to be honest hate wasn't even in her vocabulary. It was more like she was forbidden to associate with the characters. but fate had other things in store. COPYRIGHT ©...
